I saw the mod spotlights, and i think this is the coolest mod ive ever seen, (its even a little cooler than IC2 c: )
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
White coats to bind me, out of control
I live alone inside my mind
World of confusion, air filled with noise
Who says that my life's such a crime?
Trapped in this nightmare
I wish I'd wake
As my whole life begins to shake
four walls surround me
an empty gaze
I can't find my way out of this maze
'Cause I don't care
Fall in, fall out
Gone without a doubt, help me
I can't take the blame
They don't feel the shame
It's a madhouse
Or so they claim
It's a madhouse
Oh, am I insane?
My fears behind me, what can I do
My dreams haunt my sleep at night
Oh no, won't learn their lesson, white fills my eyes
And only then they see the light
The Meaning of Life, the Universe, and Everything.

IGN: Ninzhan5 What you want to help with: Anything you need Previous experiences: Check my git-hub What sets you apart from other modders: I don't just mod. I modpack, texture, skin, build, anything having to do with minecraft except pvp. Examples of work: Improved Food Mod) (WIP) Do you have a github:yes name: ninzhan Can you debug: Yes. That's half of programming. Every programmer should be able to.
IGN:Firox39 What you want to help with: Brainstorming and coming up with ideas and ways to do things. I am also good with textures. Previous experiences: I helped on multiple servers making spawns and brainstorming on how to make the server better in multiple ways. What sets you apart from other modders: I am 86% right brained, making me super creative. Examples of work: The "Hive " server complex. Do you have a github: I am not very good at coding, though I will try to help as much as I can. Can you debug: No, sorry.
Awesome mod
Can't wait for it to be done
I've got an idea for the future, maybe you can make some new villages respawn in the future even if they did not exist in the past?
UPDATE: Hey all! Sorry I haven't done much relating to this (including the video) lately, my finals are in a week and I'm busy studying for those as well as programming my own game engine. This has been on the backburner for a while, but hopefully in the upcoming weeks I'll be able to do something that will make some progress. I've also been in contact with the creator of MoCap, and he has graciously allowed me to use some of his code in my mod for manipulating the past player! If you see him, be sure to thank him for all of his help!
On a side (but still related) note, I am in need of DEDICATED modders, as this is a very large project that will take a very long time to create without extra help. If you are competent/exemplary with minecraft modding/java, I would appreciate if you filled out an application and posted it here.
I'd do it if I could code, unfortunately I can only do models and ideas. Lots andd lots of ideas.
Also most coders are probably busy with finals and thus non-dedicated right now.

Hopefully I can get at least one proficient programmer to help with this. Also, I *might* be able to get a new video out sometime this week with a bit of update news, but it's not likely, as I'm in the process of upgrading to 1.7.
Ok, here's an interesting idea. I was thinking about how interacting with an alternate version of yourself would work. Here's what I came up with. So say you went back in time, found your past self and threw a diamond pickaxe to him. First of all, you would accumulate some paradox, but thats already in the mod essentially. My idea is that after your past self picks up the pick, you then start controlling the past you instead of the present you. So basically, as you interact, you switch back and forth between controlling the past and the present. Then, if you have accumulated enough paradox (i.e. interacted with your past self enough), when your time limit is up, instead of just going back to the present, you permanently become your past self and you get to play out the world again, but this time with new items, structures, etc. I honestly think this would add a very cool and realistic aspect to the mod and would be really fun to mess with, if quite hard to code. Either way though, thanks for considering the idea.

This way you've basically created an alternate future without having to do ridiculous simulations.

It would make more sense if it was one way only, you interact with the past, you have to react to it as your past self, because it hasn't happened yet yet.
If you interact with your past self, you become it and your future self is ret-gone.
Hello again! As a brief update, I've been busy trying to update this mod to 1.7, but it seems to be getting the better of me for now. What I'm planning on possibly doing is working with the mod in it's current state (1.6.4) and then updating it when I reach a stable version of both Forge and TimeTraveler, or even just waiting for the official API to be released. Thoughts?
Theres been talk of this official API for almost a year now and we have yet to see even a hint of its release, I honestly think you should make a stable version for 1.6.4 before attempting to update to 1.7.2 but to wait for something that most likely isn't coming anytime soon will be a waste of time you could have had this updated AND have new features implemented. That's just the way I see it but the final desicions yours to make charsmud
You know this is the only mod I have seen that allows me to do such things like this and I can't wait for it to be completed for any version of forge or minecraft. Also Charsmud if you are looking for more people to help you with coding, I recommend iChun, he might help you out with the mod.

Absolutely no idea, but leaning a lot towards the second one.
As in no frequent updates at all, he's working on it.
I do update frequently, but the mod is unreleased, so public updates are rare.

Not yet, but the machine will be found in an altar that spawns randomly.
