Would you, like when your in the past, be able to see yourself doing things like building your house, and stuff?
Yea.
Try not using FML, and then do this:
go into the mods folder
delete the TimeMod folder
Then delete your MpServer world. You cannot simply rename the world (as far as I know). You have to have it called that from the start.

OK, are you going to make it Forge Compatible when its released?
Thank you charsmud, it works now, but I believe I have found a bug. Let's say that I place gold blocks near the time travel structure, then travel to the past. The blocks will not be there (cause I have not built them yet) but when return from the past, the gold blocks are still there; even though I did not build them in the new past I created. Just wanted o let you know in case you were unaware
Your mod is awesome though, a feat that very few people could accomplish
So, you place them in the present, go to the past, where they are not there, then you return to the present, and they are there? That's how it should work, because you're coming back to when you just left, so you would have already placed them. I don't understand what the bug is in this case.
NEWS: Mostly bug fixes, notably the game now creates a time the tick you create the game, so you can travel back to the very time the world was created.
The bug is that what you do (or don't do) in the future affects the past, but what you do (or don't do) in the past does not affect the future, since it would be logical that the new past would replace the old past. For example, in the old past, I placed the gold blocks; but in the new past I didn't.
?? So far, I have not implemented block change detection, but the blocks that you place in the present should stay in the present. I hope that answers your question.
Yes it does, and I am also unclear about when you will be able to see yourself in the past. When will this "Block change detection" be implemented. Thanks for your help
Can someone help? When I right-click the paradox cube it shows an empty GUI with nothing else but a back button and a button to time travel, which is useless because it does nothing when I click it. Also, make the structures generate less often, because it's impossible to build a huge mansion on a superflat map without destroying at least 30 of those things.
You have to wait a little bit for the timezones to generate. The reason why so many generate is that this is a pre-release, and it's set that high for testing purposes.
Each time zone represents a period in time that you were playing in the world. They are created at 60 tick intervals, so on an 60-fps game it should take 1 a minute, but I will bump this up for the final release. It's set this low just for testing purposes.
So, what do you think will be in the next release?

The twilight warrior.
Master of darkness and light, bound to no element, this entity is ruthless, cruel, but fair, when he looks at you he sees your whole soul, and if your heart is tipped to the darkness, or to the light, run, and hope he doesn't think you're worthy....
I have no idea, because I have no idea when the next release will be! xD But hopefully the past player, and it's pathfinding. Possibly even the block destruction and placement, that's so very unlikely.
I am also using FMl not modloader, but in my mc modding experience this seems to be trivial
