I am having a problem with Metallurgy 4's ingots not working for other mods recipes, I turned off all the other mods world gen in their configs so now I am a bit stuck.
My overworld ores are not spawning!!! is it because my world is old and it was already generated before i added the mod? because when i made my nether portal and went into the nether the nether ores were working!!! i dont know what to do! i cant find copper or tin! OR ANYTHING! plz help this is an awesome mod!
use mcedit prune world or world (re)generation manager
How come the alloyer doesn't double alloy outputs like its supposed to? I use 2 copper and 2 tin dusts, both manually and with the machine and i got 4 bronze dusts either way, or is it not supposed to double, and just gives a chance of getting extra?
Would it be possible to make it so stone picks can no longer mine iron or equivalent tier metals? it kind of makes bronze and copper useless except for making damascus steel.

If you're into the mods, Tinker's Construct and Iguana Tweaks for Tinker's Construct will work in changing the stone tools if you have them both.

The M4 wiki has not been created/released to public at this time as M4 is not completed yet.
The alloyer is to alloy higher level (i.e. celenigal, tartarite, etc.) dust that has already been doubled in the crusher.
Not all config options have been included in this early release so we may see the ability to change pickaxe levels later on.
I have a question about the crusher. We all know how autofurnaces work. Chest and hopper on top for smeltables, chest and hopper into the left side for the fuel. I tried to apply this to the crusher so I wouldn't have to sit around and wait to load 10 different kinds of ore dust one at a time. BUT, when I set it up like that with lava buckets they went in the fuel slot AND into the smeltables slot. I've done a bunch of autofurnaces before, my biggest used 21 furnaces fed with ONE chest of lava buckets so I'm not doing it wrong. Is this just a bug or is there a special way you have to do it with Metallurgy 4? It's not a humongous issue if it can't be done because at least the smeltables side works properly. I'll just have to load the buckets one at a time.

Freedom is more important than health, more important than safety or security. A life's worth is not measured by its length but by the length it is lived with liberty. Freedom above all.
Do you think I could add this mod in my modpack? The previous one did it as long as it was free and you mentioned it.

Hey so we noticed some ores giving XP and some are not. Bitumen, Sulphur, Magnesium and such are not dropping exp (despite being an item drop and not a drop block like Iron) and should be giving exp. Is this a configuration option we missed?
Idea could you make mixtures of metals(not just things like copper and tin)like lets say adamite and steel or copper and taratite and things like that to increse amount of metal but not to make it OP just get more of middleranged metal or to slightl increse efishency like lets say 10 copper and 1 iron
? what mods, recipes, metals?
use mcedit prune world or world (re)generation manager
Same with the alloyer.
From left to right: Machine Frame, Crusher, Alloyer and Forge.
Maybe it conflicts with a mod you have.
try disable you gui/visual mods
Where is the wiki?

I like to play FTB with some additions. Also custom modsets are awesome!
I just got this weird glitch involving Metallurgy and Geostrata. Any ideas as to why Metallurgy's textures are appearing on Geostrata's blocks?

THIS IS TOTALLY MODPACK APPROVED. (5/5). I won't add the texture pack support of Sphax, since I have like tonnes of mods installed in my modpack.
