Buckets, Scissors, Cauldrons from any metal or alloy. Smelting those in TiC smeltery gives iron indeed. So, that gives free transfer of any metal to the iron. That is wrong, i think... So, how can i disable Tin or Zinc scissors? Zinc scissors gives no sense anyway...
Is there will be more uses for different metals, more then it was metallurgy 3?
The other question is, is there will be any changes for the alloys recipes? Like correcting proportions for the bronze recipe?
I do believe, platinum mixed to orichalk could go as 3 to 1 as well.
Hi I noticed a few things, the new metals don't give exp when mined. Iron doesn't give exp when mined? (Other vanilla stuff does) The metals also still give exp when baked.
Also the Pickaxe enchantment Fortune doesn't work on the metals that it would work on (such as sulfer and Potash) those metals not giving a block.

Actually, metals that work like iron don't give EXP due to the fact that it could end up being ridiculously OP for Enchanting by just plopping down the same piece of iron ore over and over. The only ores that give EXP when mined are the ones that drop a certain amount of stuff when mined, like Lapis, Diamonds or Coal.
As for Fortune, I know it randomly increases the drop rate, but I'm not sure just how much mining you've been doing, which is what I would use to get an idea of just how often your Fortune enchant is going off. Also, which Fortune enchant do you have?

You will be able to disable scissors and buckets recipes in the next version, we don't add cauldron recipes.
About changing the alloy recipes, it's not planned to.

Mining metals don't give experience or giving more with fortune, if you mean the utility ores, yeah these were bugs that were fixed couple of days ago, so it will be included in the next version.
Next version will have some more old friends in new attire, also they brought new friends
Remember that bug with Metallurgy 3 and Metallurgy Bees? (I suppose this would belong more on the Metallurgy 3 forum, but that topic is locked, and I'm still back in 1.6.4) I updated to the final version of Metallurgy 3, and Bees is still causing my game to crash. I would be really happy if anyone could help me.
Here is the crash log. It appears it is trying to use a ItemStack object that is equal to null. Why would that be?

It's not the metals, its a minerals) Just don't say something like this in the less loyal community of educated people, it could be painful )
Why the bloody heck were the brick recipes changed to only give one brick per four ingots?
I loved using the multiple colored bricks to build, but nerfing the recipe that hard makes it a pain in the ass to gather enough materials to make them, specially for some of the rarer metals.
Could you please add a config option to enable the old brick recipes?
Thanks for the great mod, Just wondering if there is any plans to reintroduce compatibility with the IC2 macerators?
When I place your ores in the macerators they are accepted but will not "macerate" the only way to crush them currently is with the crusher which is sadly much slower.
Or is this more a issue on the IC2 side of things?

Actually, the mod Another Ore Bites the Dust should cover Metallurgy and it's compatibility with IC2.

Thanks for that great tip! I never saw that before, last time I was using metallurgy it was native (but that was around 1.4.7 as I haven't updated in ages due to a certain mod no longer updating)

No problem. And I can understand that. I do wonder what mod you're talking about, since the only two that haven't updated since around that time in my memory are currently in the process of updating as we speak. Well, one is. The other is as well, but the creator is off to PAX for the weekend.

I find it rather irritating that I have a few stacks of iron catching dust, but haven't been able to produce enough copper to make a machine core. Couldn't you balance that out? Especially since copper is basically worthless once you get iron, since it breaks faster and can mine less materials.
It looks like this to me: LE= Low Explosive, M= normal TNT, HE = High Explosive. I don't think the middle one is H, I think it's M because if you look at the other H it's clean and the E in LE is also messed up the same way.
I can't understand how you haven't found enough copper yet. I've got more of it than I can use now. Just mine more and you're bound to find it. I mean it only takes 4 copper bars for a machine frame. If you can't even find 4 copper ore you aren't digging enough. Once you get a crusher, in exchange for fuel (coal, lava buckets, etc...) it produces 2 dust from one ore, doubling the yield because 1 dust smelts directly into one bar.

Freedom is more important than health, more important than safety or security. A life's worth is not measured by its length but by the length it is lived with liberty. Freedom above all.
A lot of mods add copper, such as Buildcraft and IndustrialCraft. Since I never disable ore generation (I can do more with a gazillion copper than I can with a gazillion cobblestone) if I processed all of it, I'd have a full chest of the stuff. Meanwhile, I'm constantly worried about how much iron I have (because EVERYTHING needs iron). Depending on the mods you use and play style, there will always be that one ore (or many) that is/are always in short supply and high demand.

Edit: ah I see it was already answered in an earlier post, thanks anyways.

metallurgy support railcraft rock-crusher?
and mine/mod tweaker support metallurgy? (because i want disable macerator)
or how i can edit metallurgy macerator for support:
- need energy for working (MJ- bc energy) ( without energy its too cheatly )
- do NOT doubling ores ( its normal for macerators but my opinion - its cheat )

I think it was probably Forestry that added it. It's easy to get those two mixed together since one rarely exists without the other.
