Natura is a mod that aims to spice up the world with interesting worldgen. With a few small additions, hunger no longer has to be about hunting animals early game. The mod is mostly intuitive; everything should be sensible or explained in-game.
Dashkal: There's just a little bit more to the world, without making it busy.
Alternatively you could become a patron on and keep things flowing smoothly.

FAQ
Q: Does this mod have any earlier versions?
A: The mod used to be part of InfiCraft as Flora & Soma. If you rename FloraSoma.txt to Natura.txt and move it out of the InfiCraft folder, it may work. It may not, things have changed.
Installation and Troubleshooting
First, make sure you've downloaded and installed Minecraft Forge. (alternate) Natura goes in the mods folder inside .minecraft or your server's mods folder.

Wow. Just wow. I like it. Its epic how the mods are going to 1.7 and help minecraft become more epic. Epic epic epic. All the biomes + THIS = Wow.

mDiyo, thank you for passing this mod along. It would have been an absolute shame to just see it die. progwml6, thank you so much for carrying this torch; I look forward to many more good times with you actively continuing this mod, which is by far one of my favorites. You're both awesome.
wow, this re-appeared quickly, glad to have it back!

24 hours gone again, wasted in futility, welcome to minecraft modding, that is (unfortunately) our community.
(an ode to minecraft modding)
i keep making the same mistake, i think "oh, i've given them a few months, surely it'll be fixed by now" THAT is why i seem to ALWAYS be angry to some of you, my advice is to get the lead out.
there were nice things here, until the mod author threw a tantrum.
If you are not busy I know a team of moders that needs someone who is good with world generation code.
It is a mod about the anime/manga Bleach if you ever heard of it.
I would rather not advertise the mod here so if you are interested just pm me and i will give you the link to the mod.
Sorry to do this to you on the first page of your new thread, but do you have any plans to finish up some of the incomplete content in the 1.6.4 version? After looking through the files for Natura in 1.6, I found references to apple trees, boats made of the different types of wood, and farming using the Tainted Soil found in the Nether. It would be excellent to see these things brought to life in the 1.6.4 incarnation of the mod.
I've also had the thought that the Bloodwood boat should be resistant to lava, as it is a flame-proof wood. This depends on you implementing it in the first place, mind you.

This mod was originally by mDiyo but was just recently passed on to this guy, he probably knows a lot about generation, but maybe not as much as mDiyo does. Maybe he does, I don't know.
Prog has worked with mDiyo on TiC and Natura before so this is a pleasant turn of events
Glad to see that it is still being worked on. One thing that I would not mind at all is for the overworld and nether to be toggle-able separately; I really like the nether additions but don't care as much for the overworld things (I know everything can be individually toggled on or off).
Thank you for keeping this alive and cheers
Glad to see it updated to 1.7.2, I look forward to seeing what you can do with this, progwml6!

Also, I've flipped shovel textures for Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC for a more realistic-looking animation, check here: http://www.minecraft...hovel-textures/

Natura is a worldgen companion to Tinkers' Construct. The mod works well with ExtraBiomesXL and Biomes O' Plenty, but neither are necessary for the best experience.
