There is a player on my server that loses his equipped baubles every time a mod is updated on the server. This does not happen to every player, but, as far as I know, only happens to him. We are on Baubles 1.0.0.14. Any idea of what it could be?
For reference, the baubles that have been deleted in the past are from Botania. I don't know if that matters or not though.
Also, we are using MCPC+ (now called Cauldron), but I don't think that's the issue, since it is only happening to a single player.
Um, Azanor, do you realize your required Forge version is now well ahead of the "recommended" version?

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
Why would you need older versions? If a mod requires 1.0.0.13 (such as Thaumcraft 4) then updating baubles to a later version shouldn't cause any issues unless there are major changes to the api.

I want an older version as well to install it on a server. I use 1.0.0.13 version now, but there is the items disappearing bug, so I want to update it to .15 or .16 version just for the bugfix, without updating the Forge.

Is there possibly a bug between baubles and Botania? We've been using both Thaumcraft and botania and on normal server restarts my baubles are there but when updating mods (botania and twilight forest) and restarting, my baubles are lost.

Well for starters, there's this bug preventing capture of nodes in a jar! It's been discussed on the Thaumcraft thread.
It has to be Forge version 1092 or less. Apparently the ore dictionary's functionality was changed in some way between 1092 and 1093 and it doesnt recognize wooden slabs in a way that Thaumcraft can use.
If you are using MCPC+ the Forge version needs to be 1091. This is all what I gathered from the link i posted previously.

It is not a bug. Botania is BETA and that means the code changes in each next version, features are being added and removed
item names are changing or completely disappearing. It may keep happening until the final release / stabilisation of code.
Botania is out of beta now. Even when it was in beta, Botania was quite stable. I haven't gotten a single crash from using it and even when a major bug that crashes the game is discovered, Vazkii is quick to fix it.
Even so, this is unintended behavior. Isn't that pretty much the definition of a bug? I'm not sure what could be causing it though. I'm using both versions that KzariusRex listed and I'm not having any issues.

Direwolf20 told me of a similar issue the other day regarding world restarts too. Pretty sure it's not on my end, I don't make use of any weird hooks.
Thanks Vazkii, I'll try to separate it on my client end. If I can reproduce I'll post. Botania was the only mod we updated that deals with baubles, but we had a few others that updated as well. Do you know if DW20 had issues on every server restart or just when updating mods? I don't think I've found missing baubles on normal server restarts, is why.
It's a cool mod, I'm using it with the latest version of Thaumcraft. I can't find anything about belts, vis stones, rings or anything! If anyone has any info on any of them, tell me please. I know how they work, but not how to make them or enchant them, if you can.

You'll discover them like everything else in Thaumcraft: through research. You can also find some shoddy versions as dungeon loot.

I dont see anywhere standing that you need to ask permission, but I do it just for sure.
Can I have permission to add this to my Dark Souls mod? It would really help out a lot
It would be quite silly if someone made an API like this that required permission every time someone wanted to use it wouldn't it?
So, a Dark souls mod huh? That sound's pretty interesting, especially considering that Dark Souls has a highly detailed combat system and Minecraft is the exact opposite.

For some reason, the mod loads, but the tab in-game does not show? I've tried just installing Baubles by itself and updated to latest version. Any help on this?
Hi, it was asked before, but I'm asking again because I have the same issue: Is there a way to get older versions?
I'm using the 1.6.4 version of Thaumcraft and it's not downloading Baubles automatically so I need a link to a version that works with forge 9.11.1.965.
Thanks - Vis

Assuming one exists of course...

And yeah... of course it doesn't exist... sorry for the repeated request then.
