This mod was made because I was so tired of going and mining coal. So I made the deep coal mod This mod adds deep coal there are two types of deep coal the average coal was renamed deep coal and then the super deep coal is crafted using a normal deep coal and a piece of charcoal. Deep coal is in the middle and charcoal is on the bottom of the deep coal. Deep Coal last almost forever. You can download the Deep Coal mod here http://adf.ly/hDQZe
Installation:
1. download and install minecraft forge 1.6.4
2. download the .jar file from above
3. go to %appdata%
4. go to roaming
5. go to .minecraft
6. go to your mods folder it will only appear if you installed forge and ran minecraft with forge installed
7. place the .jar you downloaded in the mods folder run minecraft and have fun

I personally don't have a need for this mod (I live off charcoal, jungle trees, and enchanted stone axes), but it looks like it could be convenient for some. I did download it and everything seems to work, though it is a bit OP. To the skeptics: it's not a virus.
I feel I should tell you that a lot of people on the internet believe anything with an ad.fly link is a virus, probably because it either doesn't say what website it goes to or they have yet to figure out that they have to click the "Skip Ad" button in the top right corner. There's also a common "no pics no clicks" unofficial rule; basically, not many people will download a mod if they don't have pictures or a video as evidence it works and is not a virus. Just an FYI.
Also, the assets folder in the download appears to be littered with misc. textures not related to the mod.
