I was wondering if it would be possible (next time you update weee flowers) to code the vines so that if you put them in a corner, the vine will show on both sides of the corner, instead of just one? Its not really a big deal, but it would make my flower garden much more aesthetically pleasing
I just recently noticed that for whatever reason, when I install this mod, if I try to craft a bucket of Water into Fresh Water, it only gives me 1 Fresh Water. I dont mess with the config when it comes to this item, which always says the recipe gives four. Even stranger is how a recipe for both exist in NEI yet only the one to one recipe works.

I use 1.7.10 (Modded), so when I comment that I like a 1.8 mod, I will comment to downgrade to 1.7.10. I support no pics, no clicks. Suggestions that I think that are the best deserves a banner!
It is almost time to say goodbye to 1.7.10 because of the recent surge of big 1.9 mods.
Why MCreator sucks: jcm2606's file (doesn't open a new tab) He allows/welcomes anyone to link the file, so I put it here in my signature for people to know how MCreator functions. I thank jcm2606 (he's awesome) for creating the document/file and I'm just here to spread the word.

I dont know if you're saying that in an annoyed way yet, but I did just read the page and saw. Now, is there a way to revert this feature or not is all I'm asking. For me, I end up disabling alot of terrain gen for my worlds due to it being old and laggy and I just wanted the four fresh water to make salt easier.

Is the one bucket -> one fresh water a new feature or a bug? because it's kinda killing me to have to get water so many times for water and salt for recipes, even with the stone basin right next to me ;w;
(thought it might be a bug since one bucket of milk still -> 4 fresh milks???)

It's a new feature to allow you to turn more different mods water stuff into my fresh water including clay water buckets, etc. If I allowed water into multiple waters again, you'd have infinite water which is bad for some mods/maps.

Yeah, I read that and understand it's a new feature. I'm simply asking if it's possible to change it back so I can do one water bucket to four fresh water again. I could install Project E and make salt a moot point, but I'm tired of getting that powerful that quickly.

Instead of that, you can install MineTweaker and change the fresh water recipes (disable the old one, implement a new one to give you the 4 water back).

I dont see myself ever using MineTweaker again after it failed to properly save the recipes I made the last time I installed it. Plus there's the fact that I've already deleted Minecraft from my PC due to my computer being too old to run the game properly anymore. So all this talk is pretty much useless now.
I was wondering if you could implement place-able cakes in a manner that is consistent with other mods. I am not sure exactly how this is done internally in the code as I have not looked into it (likely something analogous to ItemReed), but it would be nice. For example, items such as Botania's Rannuncarpus cannot place your cakes, Steve's factory manager's item gates cannot, and altering that would be a nice quality of life fix. Note that items that are hardcoded to place blocks in world (i.e. Open Blocks' block placer) do currently work.
Edit: Yup, looks like vanilla cakes are a separate BlockCake and the item is an ItemReed(blocks.cake) <- the cake block is a parameter of the reed's constructor. I would just do a pull request, but there is no open source code
Also, I didn't see a github issue tracker or something similar, so hopefully this is in the right spot.
First of all, THANK YOU so much for all your hard work on these mods, they are amazing!
Will the Clay mod ever be getting a 1.7.10 compatible version? Sorry if this has already been answered, I was not able to find an answer.

It's already 1.7.10-compatible. I've been using it just fine without any problems.

Pam, is it okay to include some slightly-modified versions of your candle textures in Galacticraft for a cross-compatibility feature?
Also, I noticed that all the candle textures except for the white candle are slightly off-center and don't seem to be displaying correctly. They all (with the exception of the white candle, which is fine) need to be moved 1 pixel over to the left to fix it. I already did it when messing around with it earlier if you want it - https://www.mediafire.com/?2doxbt6n5mmsws4

Thank you!
Sure, go right ahead. And thanks for the fix! =)
Thank you everyone for your kind words and bug reports!
On further thought maybe that's not necessary if the BlockCandle is not much different from a vanilla torch except for your multiple flame textures - because the unlit candle is not going to have any flame textures This will maybe just be a differently textured version of our existing UnlitTorch block.
Even so, seems like I'd best have your permission to do that! It's a bit more than just using a modified version of the texture.
Also it could help me to see a deobfuscated .jar or your source code for the block if there's more to it than a vanilla torch - please email [email protected] if you're OK with that.
question who would i ask about making the golems from thaumcraft be able to fish up the fish from this glory of a mod?
Hah, I've just reached the point where I'm wondering this myself. Maybe this is part of the contents update.

Sorry if I caused a misunderstanding. I didn't think unlit candles would require source code. I thought it would just need to be a retextured unlit torch. I'm not much of a programmer.
It's OK @jecowa - what you did in moving this forward and making the textures was exactly the help I needed, you don't need to worry about the coding part that's for me. It may be in the end be just a retextured unlit torch. But until I know all the behaviour of a candle I can't be sure. For example: an unlit candle should only be placeable on a block which a candle is placeable on - otherwise you'd have a problem if you gave it oxygen. Does a candle last forever once lit? Does it have anything else it does, like melt ice?

Hi, thank you for permission to include the unlit version of this in Galacticraft, much appreciated, and thank you to jecowa for doing this.
EDITED:
I should say, please note this will maybe have to involve me decompiling the BlockCandle in Pam's HarvestCraft and making a similar "UnlitCandle" block in Galacticraft (which will then be publicly available on our Github as Galacticraft is an open source mod). Similar to this which is a modified version of the vanilla Torch: https://github.com/micdoodle8/Galacticraft/blob/master/src/main/java/micdoodle8/mods/galacticraft/core/blocks/BlockUnlitTorch.java
