For people wanting WorldEdit nowadays you are better off using WorldEdit itself rather than this wrapper. Originally WorldEdit did not support
modded minecraft. However that is no longer the case - see http://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/worldedit, which includes both 1.7.10 and 1.8 support as well as single and multiplayer.
A couple of fast tips:
The no-double-slash config option appears not to work, at least in single player. If you're used to using no-double-slash¹, this may lead you to think that WorldEdit Forge is not working when it actually is.
WorldEdit Forge says it supports mods and modded blocks. This is true up to a point, but it still believes that any possible metadata is in the range of 0-15. It will choke on anything with an extended metadata value above 15, like, say, half the blocks from Railcraft or Project Red. This issue has been raised and blown off so many times that at this point I think it has to be regarded as a de facto "won't fix".
It doesn't understand Forge Multipart microblocks and chokes badly on them. This also seems to be a "won't fix".
¹ I use no-double-slash because there seems to be no rhyme or reason to which WorldEdit commands take a single slash and which require double. You just have to know which are which.

um from what i understood is:
world edit doesnt work right with damage blocks with 16 or higher
the no // wont work so if its enabled then u still use / and //
and theres no pattern of which commands use / and which use //
my thingy:
dont use with mods that support microblocks and dont use mods that add blocks with 16 damage blocks and higher and dont use worldedit with energy adding mods like ae2 and mods like that or neighbouring blocks might smash away and caermaster im typing this down since your post didnt make much sense to me and i had to read over the 1st and 3rd atleast 5 times but also whats a de facto?

How to post black stained glass 95/15-9515
When world edit said Can't have a block ID above 4095 ???
/give stained_glass 1(qty) 15 worked for me.
Once a selection is made //set sandstone:2 also works.

With stained glass, you do something like
//set 95:15 or //replace 95:15
The ID for Black Stained Glass is 95:15, where if you wanted to do ordinary stained glass, you can do either 95 or 95:0
I am in your dreams, haunting you!
Can I have that 85%?
Every time I start a single player world my Minecraft crashes!
I'm using the LiteLoader version for 1.7.10!
Please help..?

Thanks so much !!! Love this mod dude!
What's the current gist in regards to WorldEdit 1.8? Is it being developed, and if not, is there an alternative?

I absolutely love this and am using it extensively but I'm wondering, is there a way to change the maximum brush size?
You might try:
if WEWrapper (1.7.*)
C:\Users\NotForYou\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\liteconfig\common\WorldEdit
If WE-forge (1.8)
C:\Users\NotForYou\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\config\worldedit \worldedit
Both use:
\worldedit.properties
max-brush-radius=6
This might not be the correct line to edit. Look at all lines and you'll find the correct one.
