These are simple retextures of shovels for the Tinker's Construct mod, which can be found here: http://www.minecraft...kers-construct/

Hey folks. I've done a quick flipping of Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC shovel textures as well as vanilla TiC excavator textures, so that the animation looks more like digging and less like smacking dirt, sand, etc. with a shovel pr excavator. Very simple, but, someone has to do it(and save everyone else some work by uploading it). Please note these are all others' textures, all I did was flip them; I do not take credit for said textures.
I have now also competed the flipping of the excavator textures as well, and I prefer them this way! Take a look:
Download is here: https://www.dropbox....ed Textures.zip
Once again, the installation is simple but these files are still not placed in the mod folder. Read the included instructions.
I plan on doing some more texture flipping for the excavator parts added by ExtraTiC as well.
Also, I've flipped shovel textures for Tinker's Construct and ExtraTiC for a more realistic-looking animation, check here: http://www.minecraft...hovel-textures/

Alright everyone(All two of you right now!), flipped excavator textures for vanilla TiC have now been made, check the OP

Also, if ExtraTiC updates and adds support for more materials, feel free to bug me for more texture flipping.

How difficult would it be to port this as a resource pack? Even though 1.6 doesn't support multiple resource packs, making it in the proper format would make it easy for people to combine them. Does tinker's construct complicate resource packs a lot?

I don't think so but combining mods and resource packs is beyond my knowledge, really - never tried getting into the stuff. I'd suggest you ask mDiyo about it on the Tinker's Construct thread.

The videos in the thread have nothing to do with the topic.
Huh... I posted those videos well after making this thread. And, they were also supposed to be unlisted. Strange, don't know why it isn't linking to the original anymore. I guess it doesn't matter that much, the versions of TiC/ExtraTiC I made this for are extremely outdated.

Do you have new versions? I'm actually looking for something compatible with Enigmatica 2.

Nope, the latest version is the one in the thread. It would be simple(albeit tedious) to make your own version. You'd have to open up your Tinker's Construct archive, find the textures for the shovels, and use an image editor to rotate each one 90° counter-clockwise. Make sure to get every shovel part for each material - handles, heads, and modifiers. If there are mods like PlusTiC that add new materials, make sure to do the same for those mods.
Nowadays, you may be able to save your results as a resource pack instead of replacing all the files in the mod. Would probably be easier. Good luck!

I'm not sure how you did it, I kinda just assume you did it manually - I'm not sure what you mean by "handles heads and modifiers" I'm very new to playing modded Minecraft, but it sounds like you're referring to modular tools of sorts?
Well, now I'm actually developing a way to do it without it being incredibly torturous.
It should work for any mod. I predict 90% of the shovels to be flipped without issues. Definitely using resource packs, as well.

A video demonstration:

Download for ExtraTiC shovel textures here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/91y4rhc4a4coqnm/Flipped%20ExtraTiC%20Shovel%20Textures.zip
Installation instructions are included and are simple. Do not place the zipped folder into your mods folder. Read the instructions included with the file.

By the way, ExtraTiC is a plugin for Tinker's Construct. Among other things it adds the ability to make TiC tools with Metallurgy materials. It can be found here:

Enjoy

But yes, flip more things. Just flip out, you know?
Edit: First.
Heh. Heh heh. Heh.
Edit - Second
Alright, more flipped textures on the way
