Good ideas! Also, for number 3, no... I dont want it to be too easy to get steel. Although I may make it need 2 coal to make one coal dust. I really dont want steel to be too easy.
Well, I have been using the mod a lot and I agree - too easy is bad. But too hard is bad too, because what a player gets is dependent on their game type, and they could blow right by steel into diamond, making your work a waste.
I would think the best answer would be a config file so we could tweak the settings and see what appeared to work best, then post it here so you could adjust the defaults?
Just out of my own experience, I would suggest instead of 18 coal to make one steel ingot, it be reduced just a bit, and to some number that goes evenly into 64 (the leftover coal dust and carbon dust is wasted inventory space and annoying). For example, if it were 8 coal dust to make 4 carbon dust (-1 coal), it would be 4 ingots you can create per stack of coal (instead of 3 and a half), with no leftovers. That's a small bit easier in every way, but certainly doesn't make things "easy".

Good Ideas! Ill be sure do add this in the next update!
I have it fixed. Aparently the launguage registry works with the newest version of forge
Quick question on that - I have updated Forge to the latest (10.12.0.1054) and updated Alloys to 1.2.1, and the item names are still not fixed. Where might I check the lang file and what might I look for please?

Thanks for modding this up!
Hmm. Try using an older version of forge (1.7.2 still, though) Not sure why this is happening though, because I developed in the newest version. Sorry!
Hmm Multiquote seems to break Quote, I can't get your response in here. Anyways, my problem with the item names might be with Forge? i also have Hopper Ducts installed and after I updated Forge, now their names are also borked.
Would anyone know what file to check to see that the languages are right? Or how to downgrade Forge?

Hmm, I dont know. I have the latest version of forge and it works just fine. Try getting rid of your dot minecraft folder and re-install everything (But make sure to back it up!)
I have been thinking, I would like to add something in my mod with redstone to give it more of a use tools and armor wise. I was thinking about adding redstone tools and armor, but that doesn't seem to original. Anybody got any ideas?
