New Feature that i have added:
* a new way the torches act and new colour, the torches now change depending on time of day or weather, so during the day the light they give off is almost gone BUT if the torch is say in a house, undercover or under ground they are brighter. Also if its daytime but raining the torches get brighter and they are at their brightest during the night.
Im very pleased as to how this has turned out and took me a long time to get it working, love to get feed back as to what everyone thinks of it.

yeah i thought of that but the people that made these texture packs dont have POM or specular mapps in their downloads, where as the ones i have (that i got from enpacks.com that has now shut down .. ) does. But if it becomes a problem i will take them down, just thought i would put them up so everyone can use them with the latest shaders that are using POM and specular now.
So basically you uncommented some lines in chocapic shaders or am I wrong?
not really no, i uncommented waving vines but had to change the numbers cause the vines were breaking trough the blocks you placed them on other changes that i have made are: .orange/red colour sunrise and sunsets .brighter days and darker nights .imo better looking rain but in doing so has broken specular ( will look into fixing later) .bigger and brighter sun glow .changed the colour of the glow stones and torches .water more transparent and lighter blue .enabled and toned down DOF .and a subtle lens flare
hope that answers your question, i actually contacted Chocapic13 before i put up my shaders making sure there was enough changes and to get his approval, which i got
dont make the sun so big (rudoplays' sun is a good size)
make the sun shine through leaves
make the tone of everything move vibrant (sorry i dont know what it's called. have a look at rudoplays, like the way the colour of the blocks feel more vibrant.
i dont know what to call it, but the waters needs something to make it better. a mix between SEUS's and rudoplays water would be good.
yes i currently use rudoplays, but it has some bad qualities too. this just my opinion on this shader pack anyway, it's yours so you can make it how you want.
Oh my god!
A shaderpack that my old laptop can run more or less without huge problems.
And it's beautiful as well!
I have only one complaint: it feels as if my mouse is smoothed when I activate this pack. Or the curser position is taking delayed. I move the cursor over an object and it sort of moves slowly over to the position I indicate with my mouse, as if I was dragging it on a rubber band. Or as if I had entered a mode for smooth camera movement for shooting machinimas.
Do you think there is a setting that could be responsible for this?
Edit: I made some changes, for example to stop the waving effects, and it seems that my the sluggish mouse input was in fact framerate related. It apparently was still too low to allow for perfectly smooth gameplay. That's a shame, but it's entirely related to my system and not to this pack.
Still looks a lot like Chocapic's shaders, but the Lens-Flare is nice. Well... It's from SEUS, or am I wrong?
yes and no, the lens flare is from SEUS as a base but its like 1/4 of the size (text/code) of what is in SEUS, and since cody has gone on record saying the lens flare is never coming back to SEUS because he thinks its un-realistic i felt like it is a waste for this never to come back.

There are only 2 versions to choose from now, Super Shaders V5.0 is the main version and Super Shaders V5.0_DOF_HQ - this version has the better Depth of Field transition BUT comes with lower fps.
The Super Shaders V5.0 still has a DOF than can be enabled but doesnt have a smooth Transition.
The reason for there being only 2 versions is that with the new "Shader Options" that come with Optifine 1.8.9 + newer versions I have set up "Profiles" that you can then choose what version you want to use eg Low, Standard, High and Ultra

yeah i thought of that but the people that made these texture packs dont have POM or specular mapps in their downloads, where as the ones i have (that i got from enpacks.com that has now shut down
not really no, i uncommented waving vines but had to change the numbers cause the vines were breaking trough the blocks you placed them on other changes that i have made are:
.orange/red colour sunrise and sunsets
.brighter days and darker nights
.imo better looking rain but in doing so has broken specular ( will look into fixing later)
.bigger and brighter sun glow
.changed the colour of the glow stones and torches
.water more transparent and lighter blue
.enabled and toned down DOF
.and a subtle lens flare

A shaderpack that my old laptop can run more or less without huge problems.
And it's beautiful as well!
I have only one complaint: it feels as if my mouse is smoothed when I activate this pack. Or the curser position is taking delayed. I move the cursor over an object and it sort of moves slowly over to the position I indicate with my mouse, as if I was dragging it on a rubber band. Or as if I had entered a mode for smooth camera movement for shooting machinimas.
Do you think there is a setting that could be responsible for this?
Edit: I made some changes, for example to stop the waving effects, and it seems that my the sluggish mouse input was in fact framerate related. It apparently was still too low to allow for perfectly smooth gameplay. That's a shame, but it's entirely related to my system and not to this pack.
