I guess Troyboy50 isn't releasing 1.8.9 versions of his mods but I found this that may substitute. It functions like what NEI's version did; too bad it wasn't included in JEI.

Download ChunkBorders 0.3.1 [1.10.2]
• Updated to Minecraft 1.10.2. With the addition of F3+G ingame, this mod has become somewhat obsolete, but some may find the extra features useful or like the look better.
• This version also works with 1.10
I love this for setting out towns, however the plugin breaks down if you go far out in a world. The latest server I play on has unlimited borders and once you get out to far the plugin starts to behave very very weirdly. The borders do not conform to the chunk size anymore and appear angled? It works fine in close to the centre of the map.
Your welcome. I keep hoping that a 1.8.9 version will be released. The other helps but definitely isn't Chunk Borders. Has anyone tried another version and managed to get it to work in 1.8.9? There are simple some worlds that can't move forward without certain mods being updated; especially when some devs (10pak cough, cough) abandoned their work and refuse to allow another to assume their work.

I really do "like the look better"!
Any chance it can be updated for 1.11?

This should now be fixed in the 1.11 version
Download ChunkBorders 0.3.2 for Minecraft 1.11
• Update to Minecraft 1.11
• Added toggle to show centers of all chunks rather than just the current one
• Fixed issue with jittery rendering at very high coordinate values
The crash only happens when I have it set to show the middle of all chunks and fly around, a few seconds after moving. It works perfectly fine with it only showing in the middle of chunks, or with no outline in the middle.
Thanks!
(PS: I don't check MCF, almost no point messaging me about this)
The version I have didn't. I was looking for it myself.
Sorry to bug ya! I was just wondering if there are any plans for updating this LiteLoader mod to 1.9.4 Soon?
Yes, it will be updated when I get a chance, probably within the next couple of days.

Sweet thanks
thanks that will be useful
Can you rename the claimed chunks?
Could you elaborate on that? This mod only displays minecraft vanilla chunk locations, they are not claimed or renamed.

I am eager for an update for 1.11 too.
Update is in the works. I wanted to address the issue with very large coordinates causing rendering issues before I release.

Thank you so much for updating to 1.11 & not abandoning this!!!
Hi, I'm experiencing a crash every minute or few minutes while using the mod. It only just started happening after I enabled the mod.
