They are made out of a motor and shear blades
The shears break a sphere out of plant, wool, or web material blocks
The radius is dependent on the tier of blade (the higher the larger)
The universal tool is build in the Universal Tool Station
It is a combination of any drill head, shear blade, and saw blade
Not requiring all of them
The saw blade is only available on the universal tool
It chops down entire trees when you break the bottom log
You can change modes of the tool, by holding shift and right clicking
The hammer mode and shovel mode only break their respective materials
but they cost less energy than the drill mode

From left to right Book of Good Fortune: Adds fortune three to the tool Book of the Silk: Adds silk touch to the tool Diamond Spike: Increases the speed of the tool and is stack-able Thermal Expander: Smelts blocks as the tool breaks them, works with fortune Platinum Disk: Reduces the speed by 50% but increases the radius broken by 1
i.e. Tools break a 5x5 area instead of 3x3 and the shears radius is increased by 1 Electric Tiller: Allows the tool to till earth like a hoe, only for the universal tool Glowstone Orb: Acts like portable light source, making the tool create light around you
while in your inventory
Every upgrade has it's own modular size adding to the tool's modular cost
Once the tool's max modular cost is reached no more upgrades can be added
Keep in mind not all upgrades are compatible Any and all recommendations for new upgrades are welcome!

Awesome mod from what I have used so far. Something that should probably be changed is the function of the drill. Both it and the hammer perform the same task which makes the drill redundant. Perhaps follow the Tinkers Construct/IC2 pattern and have the hammer do 3x3 and the drill do a 1x1.
Awesome models by the way, I haven't tested for FPS impact yet. but they look like a good alternative to the default flat texture when holding something.

Used to run game servers. Makes textures. AMA about running game servers.
The difference between the drill and the hammer is that the drill can destroy anything like dirt/gravel/sand plus anything like stone/ore while the hammer can only do stone/ore. But it also has an impact on the price of the recipe and power making it more expensive, while the hammer is cheaper in the same aspects. But I may want to find something else that makes them more different than they are now, thanks for the input and feedback
Well, when i put it up for my server i get a crash, it says...... cpw.mods.fml.common.LoaderException: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: advancedfluxtools/renderers/Models

Sorry about that, I'm actually testing it right now and trying to find a fix, there should be one within the hour

I was just wondering but do you think you could get someone to make some 16x16 textures like the normal flux tools? And maybe a setting in the configs to turn the 3D models on and off? I'm not trying to be to needy but I would be interested to see what you would do with it, but great mod I've been trying to look for a TE3 addon and this type of one especially.

Thank you :), and that actually does seem like a good idea, I'll see what I can do regarding textures
