@bennsenn22 The gap on the chest is not a bug, it's more like a feature (it's the indication that the chest is the block you are pointing at, and the gap disapears as soon as you look at something else)
So... The day right after I posted about the other dimensions issue I got another HUGE problem when I enter the game:
This is what v7.1low/lite/medium looks like:
The game is responsive and I can access blocks and inventories and I can also walk around:
This is what the v7.1 high looks like (v7 high looks exactly the same):
(also, if it helps: The very first instant you change to the high shaderpack it looks almost like if the item on my right hand started glowing brighter than the sun ||||||| also i'm using OptiFine_1.12.2_HD_U_E3 and my gpu is a GTX1050 ||||||| Iám using the shaders in a modpack with the followind mods so I'd be glad to know about any known incompatibilities )
Can you make water darker at the surface? In shallow areas that are only 1 block deep, it doesn't even look like water is there unless you're looking at it at an angle. Also I wish optifine had an option to render blocks off-camera so reflections could properly show up, other than that it works great.
EDIT: Also can you stop using really crappy malicious ad-stuffed links? I hate having to disable my adblocker to download your stuff.
Chocapic. You're a genius. I love you. I made an account just to comment this. I have the worst computer and get around 30fps even with optifine on the best settings and I've watched video after video and read a million guides on how to get my fps up and i've even tried an 8x8 resource pack - to no avail. So of course shaders are out of the question as they bring my frames down below 5 every single time, again even with the best settings for fps and the lightest version.
Your no shadows 1.0 high makes minecraft really really pretty, but also completely playable as my fps rarely drops below 10-15, which is AMAZING for having a shaderpack on (along with an HD resource pack). So yeah thank you very much for that!!!!!

Same issue. Regrettably, updating Java to 1.8.0_191 did not fix it.

Same for me! Thanks for the suggestion to switch shader packs to get it to go away. I'm running the medium pack but I'll try lite and see if it gives the same problem. I've been trying to figure it out or describe what's occuring, and the cause seems to be on exiting the nether. Everything seems to become reflective towards the screen at an odd angle. In different lighting it can be hard to see, but you can see reflections off of objects moving across the screen at a weird angle. Most noticable are points of light from the torches or reflections off of flowers.
I was able to capture what it ordinarily looks like, and also upon logging back in to the server as the light adjusts it is most extreme and you can see how badly it is reflecting the world.
How it looks (and without video or looking around this doesn't show how annoying it is to have this weird mirrored image floating around):
How it sometimes looks in certain light conditions:
How it looks at the most extreme when lighting is adjusting after being in a dark cave or logging in:
I've tried just about every setting in Chocapic - anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this?

ItsI certainly related to the screen space reflections, but I've got no clue on how to fix it.

Immediately upon joining my minecraft world, I noticed that there was a flat blue plane in the sky, and no sun. I thought this didn't look right, so I disabled the sky, sun, stars, and clouds, and this happened. (see screenshots.) There was an invalid program error, so I submitted the part of the log that was printed when I joined the world. Included in the screenshots is also debug information, which includes my pc's specs and stuff. Hope this helps.

Right. I've tried lots of different things to stop this but Mediafire is literally so crap this comes up everytime. yep, thats right, gone through every link and not been able to download a thing. Chrome, Firefox, disabling Java and enabling it, using Inspection and nothing. All I've found out is an invisible "download" link that led me to a pretty shifty car sales chrome tab without the reward of a download.
Any ideas? Theres nothing as you scroll down. Tried saving it to my files and downloading it that way but it brings me back to this godforsaken page every time.

Hi, I am on 1.13.2 and using the v7 High Shader. Everything seems to be really blurry and gets worse at far distances. Does anyone know of a fix? Thx
Is there a known way to make the fire "block" or texture more emissive in the nether?
very good amazing shaderpack would 10/10 recommend

Wierd, it doesn't look like that for me... Did you try clicking "Save file"?
