I was attempting to run the Lite version of the shader mod but each time I select the pack and try and load up a saved world. My game crashes. I read through the error logs a few times, this is what stuck out to me:

Looks like your graphics card doesn't support something in final.fsh/vsh
What graphics card are you using?
Have you tried updating your graphics drivers?
I am not getting any shadows, water reflection, or lens flare. All I am getting is a slight change in lighting. I am using Chocapic13 Beta V5.1.1 Extreme Fixed on Optifine 1.8.9

Is their a way to disable everything in the shader except the water? all i want is the water shader but the water shader only pack i have causes the day/night cycle to not change at all and basically forces the game to fullbright. i was using beta v6.1 medium but my frames drop way to much when mobs appear.
I'm thinking that i really want to download this. I think it has a really great shading capability, and I really love the reflections on the water. Great job with this project! It looks fantastic.
Thank you for your hard work on this project! I wanted to ask if someone would be willing to tell me how I could change the color hue and level of light given off by torches and glow stone. I would like things to be brighter and not so yellow if possible.
I have notepad++ and have looked at the files, but have no real clue on how to change anything. This would be my first attempt. I've gotten pretty good at mixing resource packs for my own use when I play with my grandchildren, but now we want to play with a shader pack and I like yours...I tried SEUS but it caused some strange things, like blocks being see through. Yours works the best on all our computers.
Update: I have updated the color as I wanted, as well as hand held items that emit light. I also want to change the light level given off by torches and glow stone not being held, can someone tell me where to find those and what they are called.
I went to YouTube, looked for shader videos and a couple of them tell you how to change the light color and give examples. I also made the handheld torches give a little more light by changing the numbers. Now I'm waiting for someone to tell me what and where the placed lights are called so I can change those.

- Using 16bits hdr color on screen (better than 10bit amd new tech!!)
- Using pixel-accurate displacement mapping instead of parralax occlusion (true geometry!!!)
- Tesselation is also used on water geometry
- Using 100% physically based rendering with vastly improved disney shading and auto generated textures!
- Physically based volumetric lighting
- 110% real-time ray-traced with infinite bounces real-time global illumination (diffuse+specular)
- Physically accurate soft shadows
- Torches now cast shadows due to ray-tracing
- Ray-traced depth of field
- 100% LAGLESS, it's the most lagless shader in the world, some beta-testers even reported a fps boost vs default minecraft!!!!
- Because it's lagless, there's no more need for different version, it runs on all systems (excepted it does not support matrox gpus unfortunately due to dx12)

Thats a question you can anwser... just test it and see wish one is better for you... is it that hard?

Hey, I've found a bug I guess And water still needs improvement.. it decreases fps :/
Versions below medium should work just fine on Mac.

Make a 1.9 Version of This

All shaders work 1.6.4 and up, its the shaders mod (Or optifine with shaders) that needs to be updated.
