Have you ever wanted armor of any color? Have you ever wanted something better than diamond? Well, if you answered yes to either of those, you'll love Amazing Swords! This is the first public release of the mod, so if you don't currently like it that much, it will be much better in the future! This was made using the AMAZING tool,MCreator, which you can get here: http://mcreator.pylo.si, and I am admitting that I have no programming knowledge whatsoever. So, here is the mod. First, though, I'll put the video I recorded of the mod.
Special Swords These swords are called special swords because they will, in the future, give you achievements for crafting them. Light Sword
This is the
Light Sword, blade of the good. It has 3,000 uses and does 9 damage. It is crafted with 3 diamonds, a emerald, and 3 gold ingots in the below pattern: The light sword has an enchantability of 5, rather than the usual 2, so it gets better enchantments.Nether Sword
This is the Nether Sword, bane of all that is good. It has 3,000 uses and does 9 damage (4.5 hearts). You craft it with 3 redstone blocks, 1 iron block (for now, in the future, it will be a nether star), and 3 obsidian in this pattern:
Ender Sword
This is the Ender Sword, blade of the End. It has 2,500 uses and does 10 damage (5 hearts), the most in the mod. It is crafted using 3 purple stained clay, 1 eye of ender, and 3 iron blocks in the following pattern:
This recipe is likely to change, due to how OP this sword is. Mithril Sword
This is the
Mithril Sword, right out of Middle Earth. It has 3,500 uses, and does 8 damage (4 hearts), and is probably one of the hardest items to craft in the mod. It is made with 4 mithril ingots, which are in the miscellaneous section, 3 purple stained clay, and 2 glowstone dust in this pattern: Glass Gear The name of title of this section pretty much sums it up. This gear is made of special glasses in the mod, which will be listed here first. Also, there will be a glass crafting achievement in the future. New Glasses
There are 6 new glasses in this mod. Here is a list of them and their materials:
Green: Emerald Red: Meteor (Farther down the list) Yellow: Gold Blue: Diamond Orange: Lava Buckets (You get the buckets back) Black: Matter (Also farther down the list) To craft the glass, you surround one piece of glass with the material you want. I used the green glass as an example: Here is a picture of all of them compared to normal glass: Glass Armor
Each of these glasses can be made into armor. Each of the armors are better than diamond and each has an enchantability of 10, rather than the normal 9 on armor, but, if you do the math, you'll see that just for one full set of armor you need 192 of each material, so I'd say that it's pretty balanced. Each of the helmets have 330 durability and give 6 armor points (3 armor icons). Each of the chestplates have 480 durability and give 8 armor points (4 armor icons). Each of the leggings have 450 durability and give 7 armor points (3.5 armor icons). Each of the boots have 390 durability and give 5 armor points (2.5 armor icons). With a full set of armor, I have proven in the video below that you can survive a creeper explosion and take no damage with a full set of glass armor. It can be any color, or any mix of colors. You make it like normal armor, and I used the red helmet as an example:
Glass Sword
You can also make swords out of these glasses. They are all, as before said, equal. Each of the swords do 9 damage (4.5 hearts) and have 1,000 durability. When using the MCreator tool, I forgot to adjust the enchatability of the swords, so they just have 2 enchantability.
I used the black sword as an example: Amulets I added 2 amulet items to the mod. They were originally gonna be armor pieces, but with the MCreator tool, I couldn't make single armor pieces, or make them do what I wanted them to do. Solar Amulet
This is the Solar Amulet. It's used (with full durability) to craft the Solar Sword and Equinox Sword. If you right click with it in your hand during the day, you will be given the message, "You do not have permission to use this command." and you will get speed 3 for 2 min. The message saying you can't use the command is a bug, and I'll fix it for 0.7. If you try to use this during the night, you'll get the same bug message, and it will take away durability, but if you click on a block with it again, you'll get the durability back, also because of a bug. You craft it with 1 gold ingot, 2 string, and 1 blaze powder. It has 65 durability and each time you use it, it takes away 5 durability. Here is a picture of how to craft it:
Lunar Amulet
This is the Lunar Amulet. It's used (with full durability) to craft the Lunar Sword and Equinox Sword. If you right click with it during the night, you will get strength 3 for 2 min. The error bug only occurs with the other amulet. It will lose 5 of its 65 durability every time you use it. It's made with 1 iron ingot, 2 string, and 1 ghast tear. Here's how you craft it:

The
Solar Sword has 1,000 durability and does 6 damage (3 hearts). It's enchantability is 4, not as much as the Light or Equinox Swords, but more than normal. It's made with 3 gold ingots, a solar amulet, and 3 redstone blocks. Here's how you craft it: Lunar

Lunar Sword has 1,000 durability and does 6 damage (3 hearts). It's enchantability is 4, not as much as the Light or Equinox Swords, but more than normal. The Equinox Sword has 2,500 durability and does 7 damage (3.5 hearts). It's enchantability is 5, as much as the Light Sword. It's made using 1 iron ingot, 1 gold ingot, 1 redstone block, 1 lapis block, 1 blaze rod, 1 of each of the amulets (solar and lunar), and 2 diamonds. You craft it like this:
Meteors
In this mod, there are meteors that can be found.
In extreme hills and mountain biomes, you might find blocks that look like this: They're called Meteor Blocks. They can also be obtained by combining 9 Meteor Chunks, which are next. You can also uncraft them the way you would with any ore block. These blocks give off more light than lava or glowstone would, so they're a pretty good thing to get. Anyway, go to higher ground elevations if you want to get red glass armor. Meteor Chunks
You can craft Meteor Chunks in 2 different ways. First, you can uncraft a Meteor Block, like you would any ore block. Second, you can surround a piece of flint with blaze powder. If you are unsure what I mean by that, here's a picture of it:
Meteor SwordWith your newly crafted Meteor Chunks, you can make a Meteor Sword. It has 1,000 durability and does 5 (2.5 hearts) damage. It's crafted with 4 meteor chunks and 3 yellow stained clay. Overall, though, for just 4 glass and 3 gold more, you can get a similar looking sword that does 4 (2 hearts) extra damage. You craft it like this: Matter
In the mod, you can create pure matter. It is the most durable of all substance, and is about as strong stone, damage-wise. Raw Matter is made with an emerald, 4 coal, and 4 charcoal in this pattern:
Now that you have Raw Matter, you need to refine it. To do this, you smelt it, here's a screenshot of it: Matter Sword
Using your matter, you can make a sword. It has 4,000 durability and, as stated earlier, it does 5 damage (2.5 hearts) like stone, meteor, and netherrack (next). You craft it with 3 iron blocks and 3 dark matter. You make it in this pattern:
Netherrack Sword
The last sword you can make in the mod is the Netherrack Sword. It has 400 durability and does 5 damage like matter, meteor, and stone swords. It's made with a blaze rod, 2 stone, and 4 netherrack. You make it in this pattern:
Misc. Items Like any mod, this one has its miscellaneous recipes. Ore Blocks
Other than the Meteor Block, there are 2 other ore blocks in the mod. The first is the Mithril Block
