I hadn't thought of that. having the trees grow in lava does seem to be part of their visual identity. Perhaps saplings could be resistant to being uprooted by flowing lava and only grow when the sapling block itself is surrounded by lava source blocks on at least 2-4 sides. That way they would have to be grown in a pool of lava like they do in the nether. I haven't played with the mod much but I thought the kindle wood logs were set on fire by their proximity to lava. I think it would be / is really cool if their wood periodically ignites. You're right, these trees would look so cool around the edge of a lava lake!
You're right, it is the proximity to the lava setting the wood on fire that causes them to randomly ignite. I was referring to that effect being added to the sapling as well. It's catching fire, but it doesn't despawn as a result of being set on fire like flammable materials so the fire snuffs out after awhile, at least that's what I think is happening. And I was thinking more along the lines of the lava having to make contact with at least one side of the netherrack, like growing cane with lava. Your sapling could get washed away by lava like water washes away other saplings, but I'd like to see a player try to retrieve their kindlewood sapling from the bottom of a lava lake. 8)
First, love the direction this mod is going compared to the original Peaceful pack.
Second, I'm making a modpack (to be distributed via the Technic launcher as a private pack) for me and my friends for a white-list server I'm hosting and I was hoping to include Inspiritcraft so as per the Terms and Conditions in the OP, may I have your permission to include it?

You should see if it's possible register your items and recipes with oreDictionary. That way your wax could be interchangeable with Forestry's like Harvestcraft's is.

Go for it!
So I've re-emerged from a long PC gaming slumber to pick up Minecraft to find that you aren't developing any more.
I've been reading up on how the 1.8 update messed a lot of things up and that explains why so many old mods are being left by the wayside.
If you ever do decide to pick it back up, that would be awesome.
It was always the best beekeeping mod I ever used.
Why does the beekeeping stuff look exactly like the Harvestcraft beekeeping?
They are both updates of nandonalts beekeeping from back in beta 1.7.3.
