I did some testing of a few of your mods recently and I have a few observations and feedback. And also a question at the end. Just to note, I was testing with the 1.6.4 versions.
The first one I tested was More Fusion Furnaces and I quickly spotted a balance issue. I guess this is more of a Simple Ores thing, but the Onyx Fusion Furnace increases it. With the normal Onyx Furnace you can double you ingots, like adamantium and mythril. Then with the Onyx Fusion Furnace you can double the output of it. Then back in the Onyx Furnace you can once again double the item when smelting the chunk o.o
Needless to say it is tricky to balance the two together without making it very easy to improve fusions. I think I set the Onyx Furnace to 1.5x and the Fusion Furnace to 1.35x. Still, if I start with 10 Adamantium and Mythril ores I'd end up with X 30 Thyruim on average (10 ore to 15 ingots, 15 ingots to 20 chunks, 20 chunks to 30 alloy ingots).
So do you think you could look into some options to restrict this more? One idea would be to make it so certain or all Fusion Furnaces output Ingots instead of Chunks (and that Chunks craft into Ingots) so it removes the second smelt in the Onyx Furnace. Another would be to disable the use of Chunks in the normal Onyx Furnace so they couldn't be doubled. And the final idea I had, which is a lesser impact, would be to have an option to change the Onyx Fusion Furnace (or a new Fusion Furnace) to have a chance not to use one of its materials instead of improving output (e.g. chance not to consume a mythrl ingot, adamatum ingot, or glowstone dust when smelting).
Anyway, any config options to better control the Onyx Furnace and/or Fusion Furnace would be appreciated. But it is mainly the fact Simple Ores makes you resmelt the chunks with the Onyx Furnace to make it overpowered for fusions.
Also, I remember I mentioned a while back about custom recipes for the Fusion Item Generator. Are you still looking into that and if so think it will happen in 1.6.4 version?
The last mod I have feedback on is Simple Ores Dust. Personally, I don't really see the purpose in it; then again I didn't try it with Thermal Expansion or AE. But from what I saw the grinders only ground ingots, not ores, and it produced dust at a 1 to 1 rate. The only thing I did notice though is that this allows you to clone ingots with that darn Onyx Furnace. And by that I mean you smelt the ore into ingots, grind ingot into dust, smelt dust back into ingot with chance of a bonus ingot. I guess it is kinda balanced due to late game and fuel costs but still, turning 1 sinisite into 100 is a bit overpowered for me XD So where you aware of the dupping with it and does it have any other uses?
And last thing, I can't seem to find anything in the main post relating to Mod Packs. Do you have any mod pack policy for these mods?
Anyway, sorry for making the post so lengthy XD Hopefully you find the feedback useful.

-snip-
Balance can be hard. Part of the problem is that I can't edit the normal Onyx Furnace to add a blacklist and the large chunks are needed by my and akkamaddi mods. I'll look into adding a blacklist on the Onyx Fusion Furnace doubling output on large chunks when I have time.
I like the idea of a fusion furnace that has a chance not to consume an item. Could be a step before onyx. I'll look into it when I have a chance.
Also, I remember I mentioned a while back about custom recipes for the Fusion Item Generator. Are you still looking into that and if so think it will happen in 1.6.4 version?
I stopped looking into it when "custom fusion recipes" part of the SimpleOres Fusions settings were fixed. Every recipe I add with the Fusion Item Generator could be done there but it is easier to add a extra mod than edit the config. Any setting I add would likely be almost as completed anyway.

The grinder should (and does in my tests) give 2 dust when grinding ores if the ore and dust are in the Ore Dictionary. I'd prefer to edit the Onyx Furnace to blacklist any dust in the Ore Dictionary so the grinder can't be used to endlessly create more ores.
And last thing, I can't seem to find anything in the main post relating to Mod Packs. Do you have any mod pack policy for these mods?
Anyway, sorry for making the post so lengthy XD Hopefully you find the feedback useful.
I thought I had put mod pack policy I see I forgot :/ My mods can be used in any mod pack without asking me. Use my source code however you want.
I'll add it to the OP.
Too bad about the Onyx Furnace. Also, just me or is it odd how there aren’t any Fusion Furnaces made from the Fusion metals? =P On that note, I'd be totally okay with the Onyx Fusion Furnace being Sinisite instead to help balance it a bit more.
Also, now that I think about it may have forgot to try grinding ores... Whoops XD I guess I tried ingots and only saw dust to could smelt into ingots. I think I'll just stick with my Onyx Furnace for doubling ores instead of grinders. And yah, it seems the Onyx Furnace really needs a blacklist.
Also, how would you go about making a generator through that config? I thought editing the custom fusion recipes always consumed items, unlike generators. Would you just set the count to 0 so it requires items but doesn’t use?
And thanks for clarifying on the mod pack permissions.
It wouldn't be hard to add an option for the Onyx Fusion Furnace to become a Sinisite Fusion Furnace in 1.6.4 and only a little more work for 1.7.2.
The grinder was intended to be an early game ore doubling system that is not as good as the other systems you'd get later in other mods. AE has a hand crank one that is faster than the basic grinder and does not need a ton coal but you must set there and click it nonstop until it finishes grinding and if you click too much you break the crank. If the Onyx Furnace blacklisted dust like I want you would need to chose if you want to use extra full and time to double your ingots or use the Onyx Furnace to get 30% extra much faster.
In the custom fusion recipes settings "Stack Size List" to 0 causes it to require but not use an item.
Sweet. A Sinisite Fusion Furnace would balance a bit better with the current set up.
And yah, I'm not using any of the other tech or ore doubling mods and have been sticking to the Onyx Furnace instead. But with AE or Thermal or such I can see how the grinders and dust mod in general help a lot; which is something I did want to look into later. Too bad that in such packs the Onyx Furnace isn't very useful.
And I feel a bit silly for not thinking of that before now...
I have tested code to blacklist dust in in the Onyx Furnace in 1.6.4 and it's working perfectly. I'll need to port it to 1.7.2 and ask AleXndrTheGr8st about building it as part of a last 1.6.4 fix.
The Onyx Furnace still has some uses even with ore doubling mods as it has a chance to give 1 extra on anything you put in it so can be used for extra ingots from fusion chunks, cooked food, chance of 3 normal ores rather than 2 with nether ores and so on. But it does loose its core usefulness.
OldOne, I hate to admit it, but I think your 16x textures for NR Fusion are crap, and I'm considering doing a "proper" retexture for all the items to make them in line with the majority of other textures. Now, I'm not saying you are a bad artist, I'm just saying it looks quite rushed. I don't know how to do a texture back, but I do know how to do texture edits to the base files. If I do do it, I'll send you a link (in private if you like).

Okay, just got done NR Fusion x16! OldOne, do you want to review it first, seeing as it isn't a resource pack? If not, I'll upload it to media fire, take some screen shots, and post them here.

May I put in a request for you to update akkamaddi's Black and Silver to 1.7.2, please?
Also, is there a reason you can think of for your ports of his addenda not working on my server? Never mind, I figured out the problem.

[Scott]: Things I have managed to get in the last five minutes, in order of ascending importance: cobblestone, planks, lapis lazuli, redstone, gold, coal, diamond. VERY LOST.
I just lost the last member of my family anywhere near my age. I'm going to need to take care of some things so don't know how much time I'll be able devote to modding.

Take all the time you need my friend. Family always take precedence over modding, of course. Even I have taken time away from modding due to loss.

I too have lost many close to me, including my dad when I was 6 and one of my grand parents to cancer shortly after my birth. I, at that time, didn't understand what it meant, but quickly learned what it did. I know how it feels, so best wishes and regards, from Bantha.
