I love the concept, however, I am having an issue.
When starting a fresh game, I receive neither the Kokiri Sword, the initial Skill Orb, nor any of the Kokiri armor. I am currently running Forge 965 on Minecraft 1.64, though I have tried it out with 1.7.2. Some elements are present, though (jars, sounds, et cetera) but not this.
Also, I have checked the .config file, and it's all enabled in there.

It works fine for both versions as far as I can tell. You have to change the second line in the bonus gear settings:
"bonus gear" {
B:"Automatically equip starting equipment"=true B:"Enable bonus starting equipment"=false // change this to true
B:"Grants a Kokiri sword (a named wooden sword)"=true
B:"Grants a full set of Kokiri clothing: hat, tunic, trousers, boots"=true
B:"Grants a single Basic Sword skill orb"=true
B:"Grants only a Kokiri Tunic (if full set is disabled)"=true
}
You should then start with an equipped armor set, a sword, and a skill orb. If you still have problems after changing that line, please let me know.

I found a bug, I can't tell if its bonus gear or just the swords them selves but when I was playing my sword breaks and then the games crashes.

Interesting, that's never happened to me. Nevertheless, thanks for the crash report, as it's a simple fix that should prevent it from happening in the future.
Another thing that is also actually making my game Crash is that, when I use the Hookshot with Iron Boots on " to grip a enemy to me ". The game just Crashes, oh and also. Any sneakpeaks we can get on when the new update is gonna come? :3
Would you post the crash log please? It's much more difficult for me to fix without it.
As for sneak peeks, I believe that phrase can only be used in reference to content, not time, but it'll be ready when it's ready. This update adds a massive amount of stuff, and I'm still in the process of testing what I have, finishing off parts that aren't finished, and adding a few more that are needed to glue everything together, not to mention that I'm also writing the update for both 1.6.4 and 1.7.2 at the same time. You'll just have to be patient.
for people looking to reset a players skills and hearts to zero... I would first recommend your player placing his or her items in a chest and then save and quit.
Now you need to go under your .minecraft folder. Go under saves and then choose the world you are playing. Go to players and find the players name that you want reset. For me the file would be Agent5061.Dat. Delete it. Now go back and go under stats and do the same thing. Agent5061.Json. Delete that as well. Deleting them will reset your character and items he is holding.This will give you a fresh start when you re load the world. The world will recreate those files so there is no need to worry about screwing anything up.
You should then start with an equipped armor set, a sword, and a skill orb. If you still have problems after changing that line, please let me know.
Yeah, after going back and checking, the .config file wasn't saving the changes. A restart fixed it. Thanks for telling me to check!
I have been having another issue, this time with the Hero's Bow. With the bow equipped, and plain arrows in inventory, it will not fire. Any ideas, or should I just stick to the normal bow for now?

If you are playing with BattleGear2 installed, that is a known bug and has already been fixed for the next version. Otherwise, I'm not sure what could be causing your problem, as it seems to be working as intended for me. Let me know if you're still having problems.

Yeah, it's BG2 then. No worries! Can't wait for the next update!!
Ok, The Modpack Is Done. Sorry, it took so long. i had to upload it so that took an hour, i had to find the item Id conflicts, then i had to fix in game crashes. but, here it is.

(i had the idfix minus but, it still had id conflicts..)
btw, i'm using the forge with the 24 at the end. i think i was.
Forge with 24 at the end is for 1.7.2, so you shouldn't need to resolve any id conflicts. By the way, I can't view the link due to it either being broken or having restricted access.
Looks interesting. Have you tried it out on multi-player yet?

it works well on multiplayer with a sort of built in respawn delay system
Alias, I'd recommend focusing on one update before working on the other instead of working on both the 1.6.4 and 1.7.2 updates at the same time. This would help make it so that you can do a better job on each update (I don't mean you do a bad job on this, you do very well) And it could help you spot problems in the code and fix them when you could miss it when you are distracted with the other update. I hope how I worded this didn't confuse you. I sometimes have trouble explaining things to people and end up confusing them more.
