I think a lot of people will still be playing 1.7.10 for quite some time, but if it were me, I would probably skip it for the simple reason that it is still in development - why target an outdated version when creating something new? I would never create a completely new mod for 1.7.10 at this point, just as when 1.7.10 came out, most people had already stopped creating mods for 1.6.4.

I agree, long term, THD should be in 1.8, or even 1.9. As it's not getting made in a long time.

Emeralds are a thing in vanilla minecraft they resemble rupees already so why bother?
Because you rack up a ton a rupees if you play the game legit, and since they don't have any use other than trading with villagers you can get a ton of the good items, plus some mods use emeralds as material and having a lot of them makes those mods less difficult.

I think I mostly brought it up because as someone said in another post there will be a lot of mods that might not update and some people might want to play with those mods.
I thought of a (at least I think) relatively simple solution. What if they made the initial version for both 1.7.10 and 1.8, and then didn't update the 1.7.10 version? That way they will get to play in the Hyrule Dimension with stuff like Battlegear and Antique Atlas. What about that?

I can't seem to open those invisible chests, is that a bug? I did it once but now I have no idea how to do it again. Also when I put the golden sword into the sword pedestal when I imbued the sacred flames, it plays the jingle but it doesn't turn into the True Master Sword
I've had a few suggestions about the mod I've been meaning to, well, suggest.
First of all, I think it's great that we have a config option for picking up secret blocks, but I would be glad to see it taken a step further and have a config option so that if you do have it enabled, you can set whether or not it picks up secret stone (or whatever secret block it is) or the block it appears to be.
- Villager trading hooks not yet implemented in Forge, so all vanilla villager trades (e.g. for bombs) are missing
Secondly, I would like to take this "opportunity" to say something that's bugged me for a while, and that is: I think it's silly that you have to give the Hookshot to a Villager and have him upgrade it for you. You already have the upgrade components as separate items, you're not just paying them emeralds to upgrade it (you don't pay them any!) so why can't we just craft the upgraded version ourselves? I get that Link probably wouldn't know how to do that (depending on how complicated it is) but it's not Link that's having the adventure, it's Steve. Who crafts practically everything he uses himself, so why can't he upgrade the Hookshot himself? Plus, it's a temporary way to get around that not yet working Villager trades, as that makes it impossible to upgrade the Hookshot without cheats or creative mode. Thank you for reading all this and for considering if you do. That's just my opinion on the matter(s).

First of all, that's an awful lot of mods you've got there - were you able to play with all of them before adding ZSS? Try removing some mods, playing with just ZSS, etc. and see if you still get the crash.
Secondly, when posting a crash report, it's helpful if you can explain what you were doing, if anything, at the time of the crash, and preferably give me instructions on how I can repeat the crash here on my end.

You can only 'open' invisible chests in Creative Mode - for survival players, you need to convert the invisible chest into a regular chest using a special song. I'll look into the True Master Sword issue.
EDIT: Fixed boss temples - it was an issue with Mojang's code, actually, see my post about it earlier.

Actually, any of the modded trades, e.g. hookshot upgrades, should work, it's just the random additional village trades such as some random villagers selling bombs, that no longer work.
I agree that Steve is quite the master craftsman, but I felt that requiring some extra villager interaction gives it more of an 'adventure' feel than just crafting everything yourself. Call it personal preference

Well sorry, your last message was fairly cryptic, though it makes sense now what you were suggesting. I suggest you use full sentences in the future rather than something like 'Fence-Hitbox Rocks', preferably explaining exactly what you mean.
And sorry again, but I won't be adding those any time soon. I don't really see how they would help, anyway, considering that ZSS has multiple jump-enhancing items and even vanilla has Potions of Leaping. You'd have to make the hitbox much much higher than a fence.
Unless you are actually make a full-fledged adventure map in which players start with nothing and everything they get is from the map, I suggest you find an alternative method of constraining a player to whatever area you need, rather than relying on fence-like blocks that are easily bypassed.

Emeralds are a thing in vanilla minecraft they resemble rupees already so why bother?
Because you rack up a ton a rupees if you play the game legit, and since they don't have any use other than trading with villagers you can get a ton of the good items, plus some mods use emeralds as material and having a lot of them makes those mods less difficult.

I think I mostly brought it up because as someone said in another post there will be a lot of mods that might not update and some people might want to play with those mods.
I thought of a (at least I think) relatively simple solution. What if they made the initial version for both 1.7.10 and 1.8, and then didn't update the 1.7.10 version? That way they will get to play in the Hyrule Dimension with stuff like Battlegear and Antique Atlas. What about that?
EDIT: although if it really might not come out until 1.9, then I agree we can completely scrap 1.7.
I can't seem to open those invisible chests, is that a bug? I did it once but now I have no idea how to do it again. Also when I put the golden sword into the sword pedestal when I imbued the sacred flames, it plays the jingle but it doesn't turn into the True Master Sword
And... it crashed when I went into a dungeon.
I've had a few suggestions about the mod I've been meaning to, well, suggest.
First of all, I think it's great that we have a config option for picking up secret blocks, but I would be glad to see it taken a step further and have a config option so that if you do have it enabled, you can set whether or not it picks up secret stone (or whatever secret block it is) or the block it appears to be.
Secondly, I would like to take this "opportunity" to say something that's bugged me for a while, and that is: I think it's silly that you have to give the Hookshot to a Villager and have him upgrade it for you. You already have the upgrade components as separate items, you're not just paying them emeralds to upgrade it (you don't pay them any!) so why can't we just craft the upgraded version ourselves? I get that Link probably wouldn't know how to do that (depending on how complicated it is) but it's not Link that's having the adventure, it's Steve. Who crafts practically everything he uses himself, so why can't he upgrade the Hookshot himself? Plus, it's a temporary way to get around that not yet working Villager trades, as that makes it impossible to upgrade the Hookshot without cheats or creative mode. Thank you for reading all this and for considering if you do. That's just my opinion on the matter(s).

First of all, that's an awful lot of mods you've got there - were you able to play with all of them before adding ZSS? Try removing some mods, playing with just ZSS, etc. and see if you still get the crash.
Secondly, when posting a crash report, it's helpful if you can explain what you were doing, if anything, at the time of the crash, and preferably give me instructions on how I can repeat the crash here on my end.

You can only 'open' invisible chests in Creative Mode - for survival players, you need to convert the invisible chest into a regular chest using a special song. I'll look into the True Master Sword issue.
EDIT: Fixed boss temples - it was an issue with Mojang's code, actually, see my post about it earlier.
Also fixed the true master sword issue, that was a derp on my part xD
Actually, any of the modded trades, e.g. hookshot upgrades, should work, it's just the random additional village trades such as some random villagers selling bombs, that no longer work.
I agree that Steve is quite the master craftsman, but I felt that requiring some extra villager interaction gives it more of an 'adventure' feel than just crafting everything yourself. Call it personal preference

Well sorry, your last message was fairly cryptic, though it makes sense now what you were suggesting. I suggest you use full sentences in the future rather than something like 'Fence-Hitbox Rocks', preferably explaining exactly what you mean.
And sorry again, but I won't be adding those any time soon. I don't really see how they would help, anyway, considering that ZSS has multiple jump-enhancing items and even vanilla has Potions of Leaping. You'd have to make the hitbox much much higher than a fence.
Unless you are actually make a full-fledged adventure map in which players start with nothing and everything they get is from the map, I suggest you find an alternative method of constraining a player to whatever area you need, rather than relying on fence-like blocks that are easily bypassed.

I am sorry to bother, but i have found another bug in the mod. Fairies cannot spawn naturally, or by egg. even using a fairy in a bottle does not work.
It's not really a bug, but it's a bit annoying.
Orca will not let you practice Mortal Draw on him as when you deequip the sword he stops the match.
