Well hey, you're already halfway there. Unless you also haven't built the dungeons.
Not at all. Building interiors, yes. Dungeon interiors, no. It takes time to 1x1(ish) scale it all. As far as I know, Dark Palace will probably NOT have the rolling ball corridor. But hey. Atleast the enemies will work just fine. Custom NPCs is amazing to work with.

No. The ring of fire is not a "steal" from DarkWolfInsanity. We work together at Nilux Roleplay and it's the main logo.
The medallions, the red/blue mail, the canes of Byrna and Somaria, the magic cape, and traps like spikes and stuff.
The Goron and Zora tunic can be substituted for red and blue mail, or if it's just the increased protection you are after, you've got iron and diamond armor which you could change the textures / names for via a resource pack.
Unless I'm missing something, the Cane of Somaria is completely pointless, as you can already place blocks in Minecraft.
The Cane of Byrna has the same effect as Nayru's Love, although it also damages enemies when they come close, so that's slightly different, so I suppose I can add it to the list.
The Magic Cape has basically the same effect as the Cane of Byrna and Nayru's Love, except it also makes you invisible, and actually this one is already on my list to add, as are the medallions and traps. So many things to add...
But anyway, my question was not 'what items from LttP are not here yet', it was 'which items are missing that you need for your map.'
-Lantern (I could get by with Dynamic Lighting and a reskin of something)
-Red/Blue Switches and respective "pistons"
-Retracting Spikes with safe floor underneath
-Still technically need the Cane of Somaria or the entire Turtle Rock dungeon will need to be redesigned to remove the railways the blocks ride on and such.
I think that's it for now, really. Aside from wierd mob related things like the bosses or more block types.

How would the Cane of Somaria help you put blocks on rails? Can you even put blocks on rails in Minecraft?
For the crystal switch, you could substitute regular levers - not as cool, I know, but it will at least allow the map to function until they can be added. Would they only be toggle-able by sword? Would there be a timed version, or just the toggle-able one? Also, how would the crystal switch be different from regular vanilla levers, other than the appearance?
For the medallions / tablets, wouldn't you also need the Book of Mudora?
Retracting spikes... I'm sure there is already a mod that adds those, but I'm not sure if it is up-to-date.
The lantern I'm definitely NOT going to do, because that's a whole lot of work for the lighting and such that I don't want to do when there are already mods that do it. Plus you already have flint + steel to start things on fire, and torches for light. Lanterns are pretty neat, though.
Usually using Steam/Discord nowadays, mostly actively searching around on curseforge for new mods.
Games on steam are usually Spiral Knights, TF2, SFM, and Paladins nowadays
I occasionally hop on minecraft to see what's new.
Yes, I realize how it works in Zelda - my question was: how, in Minecraft, do you plan on putting blocks on rails? Or do you have another idea of how the Cane of Somaria should work? Again, in Minecraft.
So is it actually the anniversary of the 1.6.4 edition?
are there any good custom maps for this mod?
Eventually my Link to the Past one. All I have built is the overworld sadly. :c

If you were making an addon for this mod, You should do a "A Link to the Past" Themed addon. It would help with items in your map.
No modding skills. Will probably pay that other ZSS coder guy who did the first addon to do a link to the past one for me.

Other than the barrier rocks, what from LttP is not currently in either this mod or the addon that you would need for your map?

Also don't forget the Lantern.

Hello there!
i read what you wrote and i like your idea!
for a lantern, here are some possibilities
for 1.7.10 use the camping mod. theres a lantern in it
for 1.8 use either the camping mod or the zombie apocalypse mod.
Have fun!

Hi
Very nice mod, is it possible to make an adventure map with this?
I tried to make a dungeon with this, So i turned off mobspawning with commands, also i turned of so that creepers wouldent destroy blocks.
It worked to begin with, but now it does not work anymore.
I use the 1.8 version, any help pls?
Define 'does not work' - what doesn't work?

/gamerule mobGriefing false, but still creppers destroyed blocks. And that mobs started to spawn again.

Wow I haven't been on this page in a while and let me say that I missed one of the greatest moment of the small key doors being added
Gauntlet: Dark Legacy forever.

Doesn't sound like an issue with my mod, but rather with your game settings.

Yes (and yes). Some day.
