The "Power Gems" mod adds 7 new ores each yielding their own gem and changes lapis lazuli. Each gem can be used to make their own armor and tool set, as well as their own Power Gem and special tool or weapon! Equipping a full set of armor grants the wearer the gem's mystical effect!

I have used other mods that add ores to the game and most of the time they are just diamond or something vanilla but with a new coat of paint. I wanted to make the ores interesting as well as having a unique look

It doesn't look like I will be disbanding from this anytime soon. I am still pretty eager to continue working on this mod and still have a couple of ideas for it. If I am lucky it might be in FTB, but I am still very happy with the small amount of downloads this has even if this never gets super popular

Make the Lapis Lazuli look more like a gemstone. The Lapis Lazuli Ore will have the same colours, but the ore is like Emerald Ore. You can craft Blue dye by putting 1 Lapis Lazuli in a crafting table. Just change Lapis altogether

The Topaz ore looks like the Gold ore. You should make the Topaz ore like an Emerald ore
