I would just like to let people know about a mod I found that features something we were intended to add to EnviroMine. If you're one for the realistic atmosphere when mining then take a look here:

You somehow have FML, but not Forge itself. Try uninstalling then reinstalling Forge.
EDIT: Also, make sure you are downloading from here: http://files.minecraftforge.net
I would be interested in starting back up the Official Enviromine server, right now my server can hold up to 25 players. I would be happy to once the 1.7.10 update comes
recommendation: make it to where lava causes you to pass out after a certain amount of time, or at least change the leaves it is not fun to carry leaves underground. also I like the flower/sanity thing
Does this mod add the option for finite water? If not, this would be a amazingly cool addition that should be able to be enabled in the configs!
If you mean like the old FiniteLiquid mod, then almost certainly not. If you mean just disabling the vanilla infinite source method, then maybe. I don't know everything thats planned.

Just a heads up, we're likely going to move The Big Update to 1.7.10 instead of releasing it on 1.6.4. There is just too much that would need rewriting and it's better to move it now and get it over and done with than having to write half the things we've made from scratch. Don't worry, the 1.7.10 port we've made already will be available before hand so you won't need to wait much longer for that.

On one hand, woo, Enviromine is nearly the last mod I need to transition my modpack to 1.7.10. Otoh, drat, I was looking forward to the big update changing things for the better as the pack now stands. Ah well, for the best. I can't wait to see what 1.7.10 brings.

Will the port include a 1.7.2 version as well? A lot of mods have yet to make the transition to the newest version - one to accommodate the players that have their modpacks built around this build would be extremely appreciated.
perhaps a ventilation block that uses leaves instead of using leaves themselves? leaves are disgusting in the mines XD no offense
There are two variations of this idea planned. One is a whole ventilation system (similar to what you would see in real life mines) or a single block that can be fueled with leaves/plants to purify the air around it.

Unfortunately no, it's already hard enough having to rewrite so much for 1.7.10 and it would be silly to roll back to older versions because other developers haven't updated their mods. This is the same reason we aren't doing a 1.6.2 version.

The Big Update hasn't changed, it still has all the cool stuff it had before. It's just being moved forward to 1.7.10 early.
Most of the non-config portion of the wiki has been pretty much done. There are a few more pages I have to write yet including the configuration pages but for the most part it's useable now.
Possibly sooner (We are currently sitting on a seemingly fully working 1.7.10 equivalent to build v1.1.64, still trying to break things before release but so far so good)
Oh oh make it the whole system! (Just please, remove the leaves XD) a single block would just make it easy, too easy in fact that it might not be "Enviromine" material. Maybe the block could be part of the whole system thing? Fans underground are just unrealistic

PS: Since it has been done so well by another modder we won't be adding it to EnviroMine anymore
Make sure you installed Forge correctly.
AWWWWWW YEAAAAHHHH!!! Bring it on!
I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!

Try redownloading Forge from the official site, files.minecraftforge.net, as thislooksfun suggested. You have FML but not Forge itself.

What do you mean by "not fun?"
