so are you redoing the mod or just carrying on from where you left off? also i'd like to add a little tid bit if i may. it would be really cool if you slowed down when cold (hypotermia) and got dizzy "nausea" when really hot (heat stroke).and maybe random durations and timings of blindness from really low thirst (passing out).

Also, what about if you add, if someone eats to fast, or to much food (steak for 2 hunger) they get heartburn for 10 seconds,which gives them slowness and nausea.

Glad to to see that you are continuing this great mod
May i ask you to add a few features.
1. Its great that you can disable some of the things in the mod if you want. But the sliders/indicators and procent "%" information is still there.
Could you make it so they are hidden when you turn functions to disabled in the config file ?
2. Also, it seems that all the animals in the world sweat and even combust ( ), could that be disabled to in config in the future so only the players are affected.
3. And could you please make it configurable at what temp you start to freeze and sweat ( right now the sweating particle affect seems to come to often ( its kind of annoying with the blue sweating everywhere )?
About you planned feature of halucination:You could make different levels of insanity, first hearing things that are not there (allready exist what i understand ), then also seeing mobs maybe that isnt there ( a creeper behind you that just makes a sound and then vanish and in the last stage you hear things, see things and it starts to spin like you are dizzy
could you add a Biome Properties in the config. Example you add a biomes mod and want to config different biomes id and then also what effects they have during night and day with tempertures.

BUT it would be nice if you could add Alltitude / "Y cordinate" properties where if you are high up its colder or close to bedrock its hotter ( maybe calculated in procent deviating from ground level ).

Some changelog would be appreciated so we can actually see what happens with the mod.

hey Tim, love the mod. unfortunately, while using it, the game crashes in conjunction with Biomes O' Plenty.here's a copy of my error log for a better understanding. I'm using FTB Techworld 2, with a lot of new mods added and removed. but from what i can tell from briefly looking at the crash and the gameplay, it crashes when a BoP tree log is broken, triggering leaves around it to break. it can break logs from BoP by themselves.
This mod looks cool, but the leaves and flowers things to deal with oxygen and sanity seem silly. I mean, now in addition to all our other mining gear we need to bring leaves, shears(to re-collect leaves), flowers, and dirt? And I'm cool with bringing cold water to the Nether, but bringing all that also and having to stop every few minutes to recollect myself seems a bit much. Especially when those missions to search for Nether Forts can take AGES.
For sanity I'd just have it regenerate as time goes on that you're NOT around mobs or faster if you're in a well lit area, and it goes up alot after you sleep, to encourage people to actually use their beds.
I'm not sure how I'd do the oxygen-leaves thing, but placing leaves down all the time is just to much.
This mod is clearly NOT for you. As for me i like physics part, but i disabled it because i don't want every block to fall down, i was hoping for terrafirmacraft physics system, where most raw building materials fell and bricks and processed stones (with mortar) did not. Custom mobs should not die unless you define them to die.
I love everything else about this mod, its just carrying leaves around in your pocket so you can breathe underground and carrying flowers to keep you sane doesn't make a lot of sense while the rest of the mod does. For example, I love the idea of cold and dirty water, and your thirst going up when you're hot, and the block physics are awesome because I've always been annoyed at how unrealistic buildings can be. Its just those two things that bug me because they're unrealistic.
OK, we have used this modpack within our pack, we're received a lot of mixed reviews about the mod.
a lot of players seem to find it:
1- difficult.
2- "weird" for uses with flowers/leaves (though we can customize this)
3- very nice and fun
4- other opinions...
ultimately... what I believe this mod needs is kind of a "difficulty" slider, or a setting within the config.
For example, when you get "cold" you go from cold to dead in about ~30 seconds, regardless of if you are standing over a fire, or near lava. Once you hit the damage point, you are screwed. Heat is more forgiving as "cold" water has an immediate affect on your temperature.
Thirst, as with temperature, is 100% passive no effects until it starts to deal damage, then, again it is 30 seconds and dead. There REALLY needs to be a more "gradual advancement" into the depth of damage a player receives from the extremes of environments.
I would also like to see something were we can adjust how "fast" you run out of air/water/temp/sanity on a 1 - 10 scale or something, with 1 being about a 12 hour period before you suffocate or overheat, or die of thirst... with 10 being as it is now... full difficulty.
Its really hard to go afk for ~5 min to go poop go poop... When your character is inside locked doors of your own house, safe from the world, and when you return from the bathroom you find that your character ran out of water, and died.
What are your thoughts?
My opinion, as a Single player, pause-able RPG game setup, its great, with a multiplayer casual gaming environment, it's a bit ... over the top.
I agree with many things written here. Flowers and leaves a strange way to improve sanity. Besides, I believe that sanity should also affect other factors - such as being in a very small space. But the most important thing to improve is that the multiplayer indicators are reset when the player log-off. This makes playing this mod on multiplayer does not make sense.
the reason the flowers and grass for sanity is the same reason they have astronauts tend mini gardens even though there isn't more room up there. when you are far away ... say... IN HELL! you need a little bit of home to keep you going. miners keep lockets with sented candle wax and pictures of there loved ones so they don't get discouraged because they can be down there for days.
