That fixed it!!!! WOOOT! diamond and emerald blocks for you!
now if the armourer's workshop would work better with CLC I'd be even happier.
edit: SOO close. It works, so long as I don't equip the hover boots. then the sky starts to flicker again even with the weather 2 mod in.
But I'm not going to be using those, IC2's quantum armor is so much better. Plus that set doesn't have orientation issues with Smart moving mod. Your hover boots won't follow the player if Smart moving is installed, but SM does a lot to the player API so it causes issues with a lot of armor mods.
You're using the manual, yes? General reminder, check NEI, specifically the shapeless tab.
Hmm, so to clarify, OC+CLC=flicker, OC+CLC+Weather2=dark? Strange. I'll have to revert a few versions back to before the new loading screen thing, because with CLC that crashes for me... I may or may not have the time to do that tomorrow.
I have tried, and I had to spawn it in with creative. I used the default floppy, and a book, and nothing happens. Just an empty 'crafted slot'
As usual this mod is working great for me. But, has anyone come across any high-def texture packs for it? I can't seem to find anything anywhere. The one guy who teased some pics in this thread doesn't seem to have ever released his textures for private use.
Hello, first off I'd like to thank you for such an amazing and advanced mod, you've clearly spent a lot of time making such a quality mod.
I'm using it in the Resonant Rise pack and whenever I try and run one of the floppy's that I find in the world with programs on them 'tictactoe' etc I always get the following error:
attempt to index ? (a nil value)
any ideas? Thanks
does that mod pack come with CC as well? that sounds more like a CC program than an OC program.
Is there a known bug when it comes to Java 1.8—possibly only on Macs—where the screen's text is in a scrambled font? This is what I'm seeing in the FTB Horizons 2 Daybreaker pack, version 1.0.2...
Restarting the client results in a different-looking set of randomized texture characters. This started happening when the FTB Launcher forced an update to Java 1.8 for the pack, even though I didn't upgrade the pack itself on the client or server. That suggests it's Java 1.8 specific—possibly only on a Mac (10.10.4), possibly only with the NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB drivers.
Hi Sangar, first of all, great great Mod!!!. second, I had looking for this info everywhere but cannot find anything, that's why I bother you : Computronics claims that has some kind of interaction wtih StorageDrawers mod and OC, but nothing else, I cannot find any block inside the game nor nothing... (for the interaction between Drawers and OC of course :-).. can you help me to understand how this "bridge" between Drawers and OC can be done (using Computronics)? My goal is to handle all my storage inventory thru OC (inventory lists, alarms, routing, etc. even a remote retrieval system!) I already have a huge installation of Storage Drawers full of stuff... (hard to move to other storage system...) thanks in advance!!

I believe that the storage drawers are treated like any other inventory block and you can just place an adapter next to the drawer....or would it be a robot with the inventory controller upgrade in it.....anyway, I don't think it requires a special outside block.
Wish be that simple... but not..... I tried that (adapter besides, left, right, up,down, and behind the controller but its not recognized as inventory... (I have a setup with adapters and tank_controllers to monitor railcraft tanks and works fine, but with drawers not at all). As a matter of fact OC does not recognize even the drawers itself. For example if I place a robot (equiped with inventory_controller component obviously) in front a 32 stack drawer and ask for InventorySize, I got "2" instead "1"... so OC is confused (see image)... Anyway thanks for your interest Kye!

If anyone else gets the problem, here's a fix: Once the game is open and running, hit F3 and t at the same time. This is one of the many debug keys in vanilla Minecraft, but this one reloads all the textures. The game will pause for a bit, unresponsive—longer if you have a lot of mods installed—but when it comes back all the "scrambled" textures and the computer font will be fixed.
(The other command I use frequently is F3+a which reloads the world around you—handy when network issues leave a hole in the world when connected to a server.)
Sangar; You wouldn't happen to have a place somewhere for abandoned projects, would you? I was poking around on my hard drive the other day and realized I had a MIDIplayer program I never published. I made it back in May after seeing yours, but since then I've been modding and have all but forgotten Lua. I don't intend to work on it anymore, and for some odd reason the username donbruce is taken on Github, so I'm looking to give it to a good home.
The program itself is pretty advanced. It uses Computronics's sound card and note block to play notes simultaneously, which means it can accurately play most anything from the NES-SNES era. It also allows for track specification and speed multipliers, though the latter is more of a patch than a feature.
Here's a download link and demo video, if anyone's interested:
Hey all, just found the "trick" (Thanks Vexatos for your support!)... You have to use an adapter block WITHOUT anything inside. Put it besides the Drawers Controller, connect it to your network, et voila, the drawer appear as another OC component!!, use "=component.drawer" to get the methods available (although there are few, are very useful, but I guess there are room to make more things with this :-))
Nonsanity: no clue, haven't really heard of that one before, though I've read about some issues with textures on OSX in general (there were some issues with just Forge, in fact). Glad to hear you can work around it.
jonabrv2015: thanks for posting the solution. General for others in need for support with Computronics: you're much more likely to get quick (or any) help on IRC (#computronics on esper.net).
don_bruce: heh, welcome to the club You can get in touch with Vexatos for a repo in the OpenPrograms organization (check the OC forums or drop by on IRC), which is where mine is catching dust (but can be downloaded via package managers, at least).

Is there a block that allow modem messages to pass but prevent peripherals to be seen and power to pass through?
Sangar, may you create a table to show exactly what kind of thing each special blocks let pass or not? For example, power distributor lets power pass throught it, but not peripherals and modem_message. Switch lets modem_message pass throught it, but not peripherals, and I don't know about power.
Thanks for that info; had only looked on Github, the newest one only seems to be on Maven.
I think I have it worked around now. Please give the latest dev version a try.

OpenComputers 1.5.14 is out! Metric ton of bug fixes, and a new block!
As always, remember to make a backup of your world before updating.

Hm, sounds like your config is broken somehow then, works perfectly fine for me.

Google doesn't return any results either.
define "HD"
I use Sphax Pure BD for my texture pack. It has a patch for OC.

Switches do exactly this.
EDIT: Actually I'm not sure about power. You may have to do that separately.
