Are you in gamemode 1 (Joking) I think there is another mod disturbing candycraft.
Hmm... :/
I did get a ton load of mods to make this map more interesting!
Here's the list if anyone else ever has an issue! I still don't see how another mod would make them passive that's really strange! :x
I do have mobs from primitive mobs in candy land for some reason... they don't appear in the nether or Twilight Forest tho. I haven't checked out Eternal frost yet.
- Animation API (Was needed for another mod)
- Backpack
- Baubles
- Botania
- Butterfly Mania
- Cabinets Reloaded
- Candy Craft (duh)
- Doggy Style
- Doggy Talent
- Dragon Mounts
- Enchanting Plus
- Eternal Frost
- Extra Doors
- Fastcraft (supposed to fix some lag issues where your game goes from 120 to 0 fps)
- Fossil Archeology
- Garden Stuff
- Mutant Creatures
- OptiFine
- Paint Everything
- Primitive Mobs
- Rogue like Dungeons
- Stuffed Animals
- Twilight Forest
- More Weapons
I'm using the latest update of CandyCraft for 1.7.10
EDIT: So I went in creative mode on a new map and spawned a bunch of mobs to see and when I updated my game to survival they blew me up!! The Nessie, Suguard and Cotton candy Spider showed no interest... did I just happen to come across everything that doesn't wanna kill me?
I noticed some of the textures in your mod are from the texture pack High On Sugar. You did ask for the creator's permission to use her textures I hope?
If she did, you should really put a sort of "special thanks" section on this thread.
First of all I usedhigh on sugar textures on the first updates of CandyCraft, however all these textures where removed about 18 month ago (You're late ) since the texture pack creator asked for the deletion of those texture. So every textures of candycraft is now my own (Since I've recreated them).
You may think I just copy pasted some textures and that's a natural since I kept the look and feel (The thing giving candycraft its graphical identity).
To put everything in a nutshell, CandyCraft doesn't use High on Sugar textures anymore since 1 year (And 8 months).
Craziest thing happened, When I tried to install Candycraft into my world it changed my giant Natura tree into Advent of Ascension Colored Bricks changed my floor into achimedes ship blocks, my banner into BC TNT. And changed my thaumium axe into a gun. That's when it loads and doesn't crash. It works fine on a fresh world, but I really want to keep my old world. Any ideas? I'm running 1.7.10 incase

Yeah this mod screws up alot of other mods, download a mod called "Anti ID Conflict" and it will tell you which mods it's conflicting.
Honestly if you are using other mods that change alot of terrian, or adds new dimensions, avoid Candy Craft or good luck manually changing all the id-#'s
Thank you for the advice that mod is extremely useful It allowed me to fix some problems for other mods. However it seems I will have no luck with candycraft since that mod doesn't help with block IDs only everything else lol
I should have explained better, I have over 215 mods installed and I reached the block limit of 4096, I unistalled a few mods so i dont go over but when I install your mod I think it forces some blocks to change to different blocks. I have no clue why though. The weird thing is everything works fine in a fresh world so I'm at a loss. It seems 1.8 and above increase the limit to 32768 but who plays 1.8 lol there's not even enough mods in 1.8 to reach theold 4096 cap XD
Ok so i fixed that problem, well not really I'm just starting a fresh world, but now another interesting error. The candy dungeon biome appeared in the overworld and there's no biome ID conflict. Any clue what I can do to fix this?
I think it's a biome id conflict but since the game does not crash I have 2 clues :
- The conflicting mod replaced it's biome by candycraft biome (In that case you'll need to change candycraft config)
- There is no real conflict a mod add candycraft biome to it's own biome list and generate it. (I'm sure Candycraft biome replaced another one, check the config)
When will candycraft come to 1.8?
I forgot to ask when candycraft will come to 1.9?
Soon after forge release for 1.9. Mojang said Minecraft engine didn't change that much so it should not be as difficult as 1.8 update
All mobs in candy land are passive. My game is set to Hard I have no issues in the normal world or Twilight Forest. Any ideas?

Nessie is passive, Suguard is neutral (Except in caramel forest) and cotton candy spider is neutral too
My computer is having a hard time with minecraft forge. I can't run forge since 2 weeks.
Last update of forge seems to have fixed my problem. However all textures seems to be gone, I'll have to register all of them again... ^o^
EDIT : Nevermind, I fixed it.
hey! hows the 1.8 update going? making good progress?
I nearly finished however I'm having a lot of trouble with Jelly AI

There is no more block id in 1.7.10 (Or at least Minecraft take care of block id by itself)

That's weird, I can't figure out what's the problem... However you're right, Mod amount in 1.8 is very small (#ThanksMinecraftEngineFor3DBlockModel)
