Just wondering but does it work on multiplayer? It does not work for me on my other servers and I hope you update this mod! Also could you add a ringing noise when TNT goes off?
In order for each player to see effects like bleeding this needs to be on the server as well. Also, because damage is registered by the server it needs to be a server side mod as well. This is just a fun little client world mod I made. Nothing fancy
Great mod, but I have a suggestion. Maybe a DayZ style blood mechanic, where as you will lose blood when damaged, and will bleed, eventually color will be drained and you will move slowly. Just a suggestion though. ;D
This is the last post I'm going to make. This mod is for 1.7.2. Please read the topic title. You are free to try it in 1.7.10 but it was not written for that version. I am not going to update this mod. The source is lost so this mod is dead. I may one day, maybe, remake it but I will not promise anything. I appreciate the love for this mod but I can't update it if I don't have the source myself. The end. This mod is dead.
Due to high demand I am going to try improving this mod a bit. I've come a long way since this mod was created and perhaps I can bring some new improvements. This means, yes this mod will finally be updated and given a little love. No eta's yet but I will get to it. Follow me on twitter if you want to know as soon as it comes out @pauljoda
Alright, since you guys asked for it here is a 1.7.10 version. I've updated it but after reviewing the code there is a lot of changes I plan to make. So play with this until that happens. Downloads on curse
As I get back into this mod there is something I would like to state to give you an idea of where this is going.
The mod will have two states, one with work on damage and how the player takes it, and another with just rendering. By default both will be enabled but as everything else in this mod all things will be configureable.
Playing on a server with this mod enabled will not show many effects if the server does not have the mod installed. This is because when you are playing on a server the information for damage never occurs on the client. There isn't really a nice way to avoid this so I don't plan on going there. If you really want it on the server it will have to be added
Thats all for now. I'll keep updates as I go and as always early looks and thoughts can be found on my twitter @pauljoda
