Really nice mod, I like it very much.
In ftb monster pack, random things adds some dye glasses which cause industrial apiary recipe broken. Can you fix it?
Hey! First and foremost, I want to say I love this mod!
I am running into a particularly nasty issue though. The Industrial Apiary is uncraftable. Every other machine in the mod is fine, but the Industrial Apiary doesn't seem to want to work for me.Any ideas on what could cause this?

Are you running FTB Monster pack or some other modpack that includes Random Things mod and an older version of Gendustry?
I added a workaround for that issue in version 1.0.1 - you can either update the mod manually or bug the modpack authors to include a newer version.
If it's not that - please post you ForgeModLoader-client-0.log
Now if I could talk you into making an advanced centrifuge... That would be awesome. Something runs much faster then the forestry centrifuge.Ok one more idea... Something that replaces the oblivion frame in the industrial apiary. Of course super expensive but something that allows me to kill a queen in one tick and get the offspring.

Using lifespan upgrades you can get a queen to die pretty fast, i don't want to add something that kills her instantly because that would make the mutatron less useful.
You could edit the config to increase the stack limit on lifespan upgrades, with enough of them it will have the same effect.
awesome thanks :)Checked config and cant find the option to increase the stack size of the lifespan upgrades. I even moved my old one and had minecraft generate a new one and I still dont see the option. Is this a planned feature?

Sory, it's there but not really documented properly
Make a file called "gendustry-override.cfg" in your config folder, and put this in there:
cfg Upgrades {
cfg life {
max = 4
energy *= 1.05
lifespan /= 1.5
}
}
You can change the numbers above to whatever you want... I think with the default multiplier 13 upgrades should be enough to kill any bee in a single bee-tick.
If you want to tweak other things, look in the jar for gendustry-recipes.cfg and gendustry-tuning.cfg in assets/gendustry - thise 2 files pretty much define everything in the mod and anything in them can be changed in the same way.
Your installation is broken in some way, try re-downloading the latest versions of Gendustry and BdLib from here.
If that fails please post your full ForgeModLoader-client-0.log

Strange. I did so and now it crashes when I open the inventory screen. It doesn't give me a crash log, but here's the Side Screen Log from MultiMC: http://pastebin.com/m81DUQgr

Caused by: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
You are running out of permgen space - the block of memory where the JVM stores stuff that will never be garbage collected, like class objects. Running with many mods often causes the default size (64mb i think) to be not enough.
Try going to your Java settings in multimc, and add the following to "JVM Arguments"
-XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=128m
If that doesn't help try increasing both values to 256m.
Hmm this is odd. I don't really see how this can happen from the code.
Were those queens ignoble? they might have just died off.
Are the output slots all full? Due to how forestry bee logic works there has to be at least 1 empty output slot for the princess... She lands there and then gets moved to the princess slot within the same tick (so any other kind of automation shouldn't be able to extract her out)
I just used a Template with drone x 3 (sampled from a Forest drone) on a robust queen.... and now it needs flowers rather than rock!?!!?FNORD!
It's possible that the template you sampled got the flower trait somehow as well. This is weird though. It should be easy to fix after a a few generations with other drones you have(using normal forestry Mendel Breeding mechanics), but still, it's not something we all enjoy.None the less, this is a bug I'd say. I mean, . I love that joke.
DERP: Came in here with an idea and get too caught up with my own antics to remember it! A Electricity powered Scoop. It's silly, yes, as the scoop isn't really a thing that can be upgraded in such a way as to be more durable but need energy to work, but seriously, you have an industrial grafter that can clear trees really fast, which sucks for mutations, oddly enough, as they happen very slowly without clever planning or better bees/butterflies, and rarely get enough of the tree to warrant such a powerful device, so said device is kinda silly as well.

Well the scoop is even sillier, the way it's used in forestry is pretty wrong compared to how one would use it IRL
I'll need to take a look at how it's handled in the API, but if it's not too much of a pain i'll add a powered one for the heck of it.

It has it's uses, for example when you mutate trees with a mutatron and need to quickly get more saplings. Or when just wanting to clear away foliage (it works on vanilla trees just as well)

Should be fixed in this version. The FTB guys will have to update it in the modpack, or you can update manually.

There isn't for now (atleast in any of the mods i know)... It's a balancing thing for forestry and gendustry is balanced with it in mind.
