I've added my Mods.io link to the main thread, expect 1.7 versions to be listed there as well as they become available, looks like a pretty nice site. Shoutout to Duke605 for the beta invite!
hey DemoXin, your latest fortune ores has an outdated thuamcraft api and prevents world gen
I'm working to get this resolved, no ETA atm, but I'm not entirely certain that it's an issue I can fix myself. Will report any findings as they become available.
UPDATE: This issue stems from the way Thaumcraft devises its alchemy recipes. The fix is simple. Edit your FortuneOres.cfg and DISABLE all ores that aren't available in your world.
Could you give instructions on how to do that? I'm not even sure how to access that file.
FortuneOres.cfg is located in your config folder of your Minecraft installation where you're running mods from. Open it in your favorite text editor, and you'll see that each metal supported by FortuneOres has a set of options (ID, Enable, and BaseDrop). For each metal that you DON'T have, change the "Enable=true" to "Enable=false" and that should get your TC issues resolved.
I'm going to be spending some time, hopfully today, on making a new version of FortuneOres that's a bit smarter with its base config (I.E. auto-disables metals that aren't present)
Nice mods, DemoXin. I've found what seems to be a bug in the latest 1.7 FortuneOres, however. When it's installed, I get no XP from smelting any materials enabled in the config file, whether using whole ores or chunks. Anything not enabled gives XP just fine. If the ore blocks are supposed to be dropping XP when broken instead, that's not happening either. Other than that, it's all good. Thanks!
Edit: Just tried it again on a clean world, iron seems to give XP when smelted, but gold doesn't. Maybe I was mistaken, and the issue is with gold specifically? It gives XP when I disable the gold chunks in config.
Edit 2: OK, now it's behaving itself after re-loading the world. It may be a bad mod interaction of some sort, rather than a problem with the mod.
Added my G2A link to the main post as well. It's a dinky looking site, but they're doing charity work, and they've got some really great deals on Steam/Origin/Battle.net codes, though some are region specific. Definitely check them out, I did a tiny write-up with my easy experience using it.
With 1.7.2, I keep getting kicked from the game randomly while fighting and the error is in the spoiler below:

It does not seem to be fatal, just annoying and I'm not sure if it's a mod interaction or something else.
I'm looking now to see where this crash is coming from, and will get it fixed as well as go ahead and release a couple of the new enchants early (since I'm sitting mid-update atm).
What ore chunks aren't able to be crushed/pulverized? Every mod I've tried them with handles them properly.
@ DemoXin ,
Does FortuneOres fully support Metallurgy 4 yet? and if not, WHY!?!?!?!?
I haven't added any metals to FortuneOres in a while, and I still want to get Metallurgy supported, but I need new textures from my artist first, and he's incredibly busy atm.
Can you give an estimate on when the next update will be out?
To be brutally honest, at this point in time, I can't give you a timeframe. My RL situation has changed and given that modding doesn't pay well (read: Pays nothing), I have to focus on things that will help me get moved out of my house, and until such a time as that changes, modding is mostly on hold for me. I'm working on them slowly as I'm able.
Just a suggestion but how about a More Potion brewing mod ?
Allowing users to brew the rest of the MC potions.
Potions are a thing I want to toy with, but the vanilla potion system is difficult to use at best, and I'm looking at more of a brewing overhaul than just additional potions.
Running MoreEnchants on a server (either vanilla + Forge 1083 or MCPC+) leads to a player disconnect whenever a charm is supposed to be dropped:

As a roleplayer, I love this set of enchantments, so I would love to see this fixed.

well i didn't know you were interested in making a potion overhual mod i have tried to get my hands dirty with minecraft modding but i just cant handle the java textures were never a problem though >.> i'll pm you with details on this ol post
Having issues with getting More Enchants to launch - it makes minecraft crash on launch. Does it need a specific version of Forge? Or could it be a mod conflict? I can provide a list of my installed mods if needed - for now, i'll try a few different forge versions.
Can I get a crashdump from you? It's most likely a mod conflict.

Not likely, given that the charms are quite potent, and inventory space is the only thing that makes them "balanced" as it is.

Is this firing EVERY time a mob dies? Is it only specific mobs, and if so, which ones?
Can I get the dump from vanilla + forge instead of the MCPC one?
