It is a small but great mod, loving it so far. Just a small request though, can you make it support a 3x3 placement as well? It's just that a 3x3 fits my building method better than a 2x2.
Getting the following crash when trying to port to Twilight Forest from any dimension. However I am using MCPC+

Finally, a newer teleport mod I like! I wish I found it sooner (I think I last checked for teleport mods just before this was posted XD). It seems perfect for some multiplayer survival stuff I am planning; the cost is just right and I like how you need to discover it first.
I look forward to seeing any future additions to this mod. Also, have you considered a config option to toggle to a harder recipe for it? 20 stone and 4 enderpearl is nice for some things, but it may be a bit too easy for others.
Im adding this along with chisel to my new 1.6.4 instance. I previously used mystcraft books for fast travel but that mod adds so much overhead and memory issues. Plus I like that you have to build these things rather than just place a block down.

When right clicking on the waypoint...only seems to happen when I'm op..when I'm not op nothing happens anymore.
I'm glad I dug through the 50+ pages of threads necessary to find this one. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten more attention. It very neatly solves the problem of long-distance transportation in Minecraft in a way that:
is neither cost-prohibitive nor trivial
supplements Minecraft transportation where it is lacking, without removing the need for other forms of transportation
does not operate as a global escape mechanism
is elegant and user-friendly
There are plenty of other teleportation mods out there, but most of them are cumbersome, either teleporting the user between two linked points, necessitating the creation of hubs or chains, or teleporting the user from anywhere to a pre-set location using an item, which means travelling between a variety of points involves a lot of item management. Some even link points in a circular fashion, meaning the more destinations you have, the longer it takes to get from a specific one to another specific one.
This mod allows for rapid travel between any number of established points, from any one to any other, but new users must find those points. I think this is one of the best features, because it makes it convenient to move around a large, developed world, without removing the need for people to explore that world first. Since each user has to discover the waypoints for themselves, and can remove items from their personal list, it allows each user to create as many waypoints as they like, without cluttering up the lists of other players.
I congratulate the author on taking something that worked well in another game (Diablo), and adapting it so well to the Minecraft world and gameplay.
Will be nice have more freedom in design of waypoint. For example some 3x3 size case.
For example maybe better have some master block with same ender perls price. And additional decorative block with same texture autoconnected to near master.

This is a very nice mod
While there are many teleporting mods this one is different:
1) It is not "Free", It requires resources unlike a lot of minimaps
2) It is not Very expensive (By that I mean not like the IC2 Teleporter block)
3) It Has the abbility (I think) to share waypoints with friends
4) It is not a "This links to this and this only" meaning you need a hub sort of thing but it is also not a loop like
1---2---3
| |
6--5---4
meaning you need to go through a portal 90000 times to get where you want to be
5) It is cool
Hi! Great mod! I'm currently using it for my LARGE 8 bit museum and it's a LOT faster then even high speed tracks! (duh!).
I was wondering, however, would it be possible/easy/tweakable to be able to reorder the list? I created Super Mario Bros. 1 before the 2 and 3... Using worldedit, cut&paste is an easy thing to do but I would need to recreate the entire 12 pads I have (that are NOT aside each other!).
This is a very useful mod, and I don't want to see it die.
Also - maybe make the recipe a tiny bit harder? Once you get iron armour and diamond tools, endermen aren't an issue, and once you beat the ender dragon, eyes of ender are pretty easy to acquire en masse. Maybe add a piece of obsidian, or even a ghast tear.

Vortaka
this more simple for mining add and remove waypoint structure
1=pear end
0= stone
1 1 1
1 0 1
1 1 1
I was playing with this mod today and whenever I enter the GUI for the waypoint it crashes after a few seconds!

EDIT: And yes it was working fine before, I have multiple Waypoints in my world.
