That's pretty cool. The only anti-xray I've encountered myself just reports most ore blocks as stone. I can still see caves and exposed ores underground, along with monster eggs in Extreme Hills biomes.

I don't want an auto installer I want a java I can slap in my mods folder and play multiplayer
where can you make a link for one like that again I don't want an auto installer or a folder or zip folder

Hey i have java 6 and i can not update it on mac. I am having problems using the auto installer. It starts up for a bit then automatically closes. If you have any idea how I could fix it please tell me!

Yeah it's currently not compatible with magic launcher. That's something I've been meaning to look into.

XRay for 1.7.4: Download
XRay for 1.7.2: Download

Download the appropriate version and then double click on it.

By downloaded file to you mean the autoinstaller jar?

Also could you post a video on how to do a forge install?

You can place the auto installer file into your mods folder and it should work with Forge.

I'm working on this. I don't have a mac so it's hard to diagnose.

I can't do a video but the process is very simple:

1. Install forge.
2. Put XRay-1.7.*-v4.jar into mods folder.
3. Profit.

What operating system are you using? Try updating your Java.

Hi I just acquired your mod today used mcpatcher to install it however there is a problem when i hit x the ores dont show up at all everything just dissapears cept mobs great mod tho im sure i herped when i should of derped somewhere along the lines of installing it hopefully its a simple fix ty for your time sir

I press X and it just shows random ores that arent there. This mod is a huge scam.

That's because most likely the server you are trying to use it on has some sort of anti-XRay plugin.

dude the multiplayer why it can't work i mean i press x but the ores is showing but not all of it like iron just but 2 if i mine it and then it show 4 but in singel player all of the ores work like original noting wrong but the multiplyer doe can't even find 1 diamond or 4 perfect iron ores just stack please fix it the multiplayer OK

Your problem is likely a server side mod preventing users from using Xray mods.

I'll try to work on this over the weekend. My life has been unusually busy lately, and as a result I haven't had much coding time. I'm expecting things to calm down soon so I'd say next week at the latest.

This is a really great mod, especially considering that most xray tweaks are incompatible with Optifine or aren't actively maintained.

The one thing I don't understand is why the coordinates are enabled by default, requiring you to toggle it off, where-as ever other feature requires toggling on. Is there any way to either:

- Have it off by default for better consistency with the other features
- Have an option to disable it entirely?

I really don't need to see my coordinates constantly, since I have Rei's Minimap.
