For 1.7.10 packs use the version 33. Any version after 33 until 47 always has some kind of weird issue. havent tried 48 in 1.7.10 since 33 just works pretty well (unless you using GregTech and you will have some strange behaviours due to how GregTech works)
I never understood how to get the flight to work, it's not double jump like creative...

I found out why it never worked for me in 1.10.2. The keybindings don't stay set, they reset to default every time I close Minecraft... Flight and the GUI buttons, I want them to be different keys but they keep resetting...
Can you please make an xray_legit thing that will allow you to find ores but only shows ores near air block so it will be like cave finder but it doesnt show a block from a certain area it will show the whole block but only near air blocks so it will be like combining xray with cave finder or just give me a tutor on how to do it and i will do it myself i cant do it on my own im stupid working with java but if you give me a tut i will do it please <3333
Hey AmbientOcclusion, can you upload your mod to some other place other than addfly? I like this mod and it is very useful, but I don't like addfly. So far I have not had a problem when ever I go there to download this mod but people have gotten malware from there before and I was just wondering if you ever considered uploading your mod to some other place. One good site that I can think of is the curse forge site. That site is safe and you can earn points a lot faster than you can earn money from addfly. I am just asking I do have an anti virus and I use firefox, and when ever I go to addfly I never click on any adds and I always cloes out the page as soon as the file is downloaded so I do have some protection to protect my computer from any possible infections, but sill if the whole possibility of a security risk can be avoided then that is good. Keep up the good work.
P.S How do you make a mod for minecraft without needing minecraft forge or some other mod loader? I have looked and the only thing that I can find is for making mods with forge. How do you make your mod work? Can someone pleas tell me how to make a mod without forge?
Hey everyone - I just wanted post real quickly and let everyone know I have not abandoned this project and am currently working on an update. No release date has been set. It will officially support 1.11.2 as well as be a lot more stable that previous versions. I'm planning on separating the XRay, Coordinates, and Fly mods so I can update each individually to get updates out faster, as well as give you guys a choice of which mods you want rather than bundling them all together. That way if someone already has a coordinates mod they like, they aren't forced to install mine along with XRay. Likewise, if they want to use my coordinates without being forced to install XRay, they can.
I'd like to also apologize for my absence, I used to be a lot more active. School and life got in the way and I had very little time to work on my mod. However, I want everyone to know that I am committed to putting out an update soon and continuing to support it. As soon as I'm comfortable putting a beta release out for you guys to try I will!

When you separate out the coordinates mod, would you be able to add the option to show facing angle, especially the vertical angle? It helps a ton while using the Elytra.
I hope real life is going well, and please take your time, there is no pressure. I greatly appreciate all your work and respect that you have other priorities.
If everyone keeps asking for extra features, AmbientOcclusion probably won't update at all. Just let him update his mod as it was or split it up as he suggested he was thinking of doing. I have never had a problem with his mod using Vanilla Minecraft, even his betas. He said he has been busy with school and other things in life. Give the guy a break.
My god, are people so impatient that they absolutely NEED to try updating it themselves? that's a sure way to anger a mod author and PREVENT updates from happening.
jesus guys, it's not the end of the world if you can't play mods on 1.12 within the first month.

I don't think that people are opposed with waiting, its just being left in the dark without updates. Everyone understands that AmbientOcclusionis busy and doesn't have time to dedicate as much time to the mod as he would like, but I feel like all people really want right now is just an ETA. Such as the end of this week, the end of next week etc. or even a percentage completed on the main page, just to give an indication that progress is being worked on. That being said, I think we are grateful to even have this mod, but having any form of update or information on progress would help prevent people from checking the page and being disappointed when nothing has changed.

If you dont want to constantly check the page, they can always subscribe the thread and patiently wait to receive an email on your inbox informing them that there is new content on the thread.
If every impatient person did this, I would not have to constantly check the thread every time one of you ask when if 1.12 is coming out!
About the guy that is willing to update the mod himself, good luck! This isnt the normal forge mod ... Taking into account that one of the features is patching vanilla minecraft client...
Because this mod is for vanilla
they do, and it works with my 1.7.10 modpack. perhaps direwolf's pack has x-ray added in with a custom config or something.

It was all my fault. I had a left over xray mod from another time (a horrible alternative to this) and it uses the same hotkeys. sorry everyone.

I believe it's launchwrapper (although I'm not one hundred percent certain) I use multi mc and I had to use this http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1292688-xray-mod-1-6-4-1-11-vanilla-forge-liteloader?comment=3088 to use xray with multimc. I also found this https://github.com/MultiMC/MultiMC5/wiki/Jar-Modding . I wouldn't know how to make it work with any other mods though as the closest to modding I've ever come is opening up minecraft using mcp and eclipse but I don't know any java

So, I was wondering, is there going to be a version for 1.12? I am fine with waiting, just if I could know if it is going to come at all would be nice

I'm bored, so I'll probably decompile it and figure out how to update it.
This mod should become open source someday.
UPDATE: Dangit AmbientOcclusion, do you obfuscate it on purpose, or does your compiler automatically do that?
