To note:
Natura's Nether Furnace recipe conflicts with this Nether Furnace. For my private pack, I'm probably going to change your recipe to include a redstone dust at middle, since it has special features, and the Natura version is straight-up normal. I think that'd be nice in the mod itself though.

just change the loading order so nether x loads before natura, the natura furnace will become unavailable, but you'll have the nether x furnace which is better
well from what he said and from what I asked him.
it would obviously mean that im asking what his mod pack is because im curious since I know a few people have manually updated mods and have been trying to find people who have since im making a MUHC Pack (modded Ultra Hardcore Survival Pack for 1.7)
and im trying to get the best mods I can for 1.7 to make my Hardcore Series be Brutal >
and this mod makes the nether sooo much more nicer I have been dieing to get this mod for 1.7
may I ask when this will be for 1.7.2?
since 1.8 is lmost here im assuming maybe soon I hope
Sorry about being so unresponsive - I've been really busy recently. Luckily I'm not anymore, so I can get back to doing some coding.
About the upcoming update, I've already massively improved the Ghast Queen boss fight, as well as given it a boss health bar. I've done a lot of other tweaks, as well as started working on a NetherX API.
I am also planning on adding a new boss - The Leviathan.
Plus there will now be inferno spider dungeon/nest like structures, new blocks, new items, and more, as well as a really creepy thing which I'm going to keep secret for now.
I'm also going to make NetherX more modular, so you can disable the features you don't like.
I am thinking this will be my last update for 1.6.4... what do you guys think?
Also, do you have any suggestions for ideas/things you want me to change?
EDIT: Oh, and configurable biomes are planned as well.
I was thinking of posting a pre-release for all you guys to try out...would you like that?
Ive been thinking about trying this mod for the longest time.
But I do have Nether Ores, Natura, and TiCon to fill the nether with stuff, however, this would add a neat addition.
Thank god I looked at the last page here to find out Biome IDs arnt configurable, so Ill probably wait for that.
Speaking of, how is compatibility with Natura?
It adds and replaces a lot of netherrack with it's soil and what not.
Is there some kind of configuration for Generation?
Oh and BTW, more configuration > Less configuration.

Also make it compatible with render player API for the people who use capes with the render Player API

Hmm... I don't have much to suggest, as I feel this an extremely solidly built mod.
If there is one thing, maybe some kind of tameable/ride able/passive farm animal, as the only "nice" mob is the Pigmen. I'm not entirely sure what they could be, as again, this is a wonderful mod.
I'm just waiting and Checking this forum every day for 1.7.2 news I'm happy about the new update and may try it out but I'm mostly looking forward 1.7.2 and worried this mod could fall behind since forge 1.7.4 will be out in 2 weeks or 3 weeks
Excuse me, but does anyone know if this mod is compatible with the Mo'Creatures mod? I'm making a server for myself and my friend, and I think we'd like to add this to the mix, but I don't know if it'll cause problems

Nothing is compatible with Mo'Creatures. It replaces ALL mob spawning in the game, with a different set of spawning rules, making most mechanics we rely on broken. It is a mod that is fun to play, by itself, as long as no one playing has any goals of making any type of spawn-based mob farms. No major modpack has Mo'Creatures included or optional, for this and other reasons.

The only incompatibility of this mod with other mods that I know of, is that you can not configure biome IDs. I can not run this mod because I use other mods with their own biomes, and can not fit this mod into that list. Other than that it should be fine to run along side other mods.
Mo' Creatures is the mod that is tough to play with any other mods. If you are playing "Mo' Creatures Minecraft" and everyone on the server is down to play just that, it could be alright. Chances are though some people on the server will want to make mob farms, like an Ender Pearl farm in The Ender dimension. Farms like that are not possible with Mo' Creatures installed because it changes all the spawning rules. Mobs spawned w Mo' Creatures will spawn different distances from the player versus vanilla, and those same mobs despawn with less distance than vanilla spawning, for example.

Nice job! This looks like a really awesome mod-can't wait to download it
A couple of suggestions..what about having Nether versions of popular crops? Nether Apples could have little flames coming from them, and maybe could be found on special Nether Trees? They would be like birch trees, but red and black instead of white and black..
Or what about having overheating? If you spent too long near a fire, or lava, or ate a Nether Apple, you would slowly start to lose health and would have to step into cauldron full of water?

I was viewing a YouTube review on this mod. I saw a comment and thought it was a good idea.
OffRoadIceCreamTruck says:
"They should add a mob for each deadly sin Glutton-already there Greed-attacks and takes your armor and weapon Envy-poisons and takes regular items Lust-pulls you in pride-grows twice its size when hit with a melee weapn, deals double damage Sloth-gives slowness, deals insane damage but moves very slowly Wrath-instant kill, so you best run the f*ck away"
is your mod pack 1.6 or 1.7

Let us know when version with configurable biome IDs for MC1.6.4 is released.

I have not been able to use the mod because the biome IDs are not configurable, so that is the biggest feature I am looking for.
I am still on 1.6.4 have not moved to 1.7.x yet, if that influences your decision about continuing 1.6.4 updates.
But I do have Nether Ores, Natura, and TiCon to fill the nether with stuff, however, this would add a neat addition.

Forget about 1.6.4 and start working on 1.7.2. Will so many mods updated to 1.7.2 people are ready to start moving over. I know I am!
