Yes you are. Thanks for your work on the wiki, it was really helpful!
If you could keep adding stuff, that would be great, but you will get a cape whether you work on it any more or not.
I made a suggestion like that, but it looks like this:
Also, you should REALLY lower the chance to turn into netherrack for the oven, and you should make the skin for the ghats queen different, greenshoes
I might lower the chance slightly, but not by much. The Nether Furnace is supposed to be unstable, as to not make it too OP. And unless I find/create a better texture for the Ghast Queen, it will stay the way it is. Sorry!
Greenshoes, could you please take a look at my last post, I state a lot of ideas in it and would really like you to give me feedback
here it is:
hey, I wanted to thank you for making this great mod, but could I give some suggestions, it's mostly about the thing that curses stuff, how about making it do those things:
-curse skeleton skulls into wither skeleton skulls
-curse skeleton spawn eggs into wither skeleton spawn eggs
-curse blaze powder into cursed powder (used to brew wither potions, that give wither effect)
-curse strength potion into wither potion
-turn diamonds into necromite ,maybe?
-turn iron or gold into venomite, maybe?
-curse seeds into, well, cursed seeds
-what if you could curse regular books with necromite on the cursing altar or something, on top of crafting cursed books?
I also made new textures for cursed books and necromite, I hope you like them.
could you please make it so that cursed books (just like regular enchanted books) don't stack, and make it so that everything it curses has either a red/black glow, or a really purple glow instead of the regular blue-ish glow
what if you made the ghast queen drop it's heart, it would be called the "beast's heart" or something like that, and it would look weird and disgusting (I made a texture for it) or if not her, what about making a leviathan that roams in the lava sea drop it, it could look like the leviathans in "Ratchet and Clank: operation destruction" (at least I think that's how this one is called) it's a video game, and in it there's a very good looking leviathan.
here's the "beast's heart" texture
Could you make a magma gem tool set with the sword that could set stuff on fire, and when the tools are cursed, they smelt anything they destroy like an the axe would get charcoal when destroying wood, a pic would get nether brick when destroying netherack and the shovel would get glass when mining sand.
if you wonder how you could get a skeleton skull to curse in the first place, I am using a mod that makes it so that skeletons, zombies, and creepers have a chance of dropping skulls.
Oh and if you ever want to use my textures you'll have to make the background transparent, I can't seem to get it to be with the program I'm using.
If you like and implement my textures or other textures I might make, would I qualify in getting a cape?
I think I might use some of the ideas - it would be cool to have some sort of wither potion - I'll see what I can do. Also, I like the idea of having a tool set that cooks whatever block it mines - but instead of being made out of magma crystal, it would probably be uncraftable and only found in Nether Fortresses/Nether Dungeons. So there would be uncraftable armor in the overworld (chain) and uncraftable tools in the Nether.
Thanks for the ideas!
Also, about the capes: I can give you one, if you will tell me your Minecraft username, and I can give Sayomi_Inoue one as well if he/she could create texture pack support, but no one after this will get a cape - unless they do something really amazing for this mod. Sorry everyone, but if everyone ran around with capes on, they wouldn't be as special - and my PM has been flooded with requests for capes.
Nice mod review! I've got an idea for the Nether Furnace - it could still melt into netherrack, however, there will be some sort of Enhanced Nether Furnace which will share recipes with the Nether Furnace, but with a nether star in the middle. Apart from never breaking, it also smelts twice as fast.

Would you like something like that?
That would be great! I just find it annoying that I have to make like 50 furnaces to smelt some ores .-.
Overall this mod checks out. It's one of the best nether mods I've seen yet as it doesn't break theme like Natura and a several other nether content mods have. I like how you got the glutton from Firehazurd. It seems his legacy stays sting to this day, as even years later you can find a mod with one if his mob ideas. The mobs you added yourself are also pretty cool, especially that sentient fire creature. That thing scares he hell out of me since I do not like fire spreading.
I haven't played with cursed equipment much, but is there any drawbacks for using a cursed tool? The power they give is impressive, but the name cursed makes me feel like there's some secret hazard about using the tools.
If there isn't, you ought to change that as than how can it be cursed if the tools are only beneficiary?
I've been thinking about that recently myself. Should they have a negative drawback? At the moment they don't, but that could easily change. What if you die when the tool breaks? Or you can never put it down? (If you drop it, it would be instantly picked up again). Or a combination of the two? What do you all think?
Also, about the capes, I used artic_creeper's X and turned it into this:
hey i love this mod. however here is a few sugestions. my netherrack furnace crashes my game when i use it, you should fix that.
It should not be crashing. Do you have any other mods installed?
and also maybe you should add a flameable ichorite block crafted out of ichorite shards, like a coal block.
I like that idea, but instead of an Ichorite block wouldn't it make more sense for it to be a Magma Crystal Block?
and like the angry flaming bull in the mod, you should add a similar angry flaming swine to the mod that drops cooked porkchops.
The Blazing Charger is the equivalent of the cow in the Nether. The zombie pigman is the equivelant of the pig. Maybe sometime I might add a flaming swine, but not yet.
and also, you should make everyone able to grow vile wood by crafting a vilewood block with a netherthorn to get a vile sapling, it's pretty hard to obtain vilewood so that should be fixed.
Maybe Vilewood Saplings could be found in chests, and can grow Vilewood trees without having to craft them.
and also, you should show a picture of all the crafting recipies on the topic, so it's easier to undrestand them. otherwise, this is a pretty good mod.
Yes, I'd like that, but I'm to busy coding at the moment. If anyone else could do that, that would be great (and maybe even a way to get you a cape).
Do you have Forge installed correctly? If so, are you using 1.6.4? If so, then it should work. If not, you might have other mods installed that conflict.
I have a couple ideas that I think would be pretty cool...As an alternate means of making brewing stands craftable in the nether, make it so netherrack blocks can be used in place of cobblestone in the crafting recipe. Why? So that a "cobblestone generator" made with poison generates netherrack instead of cobblestone, making netherrack a renewable resource!
My other idea was that you could introduce an Ichorite block (unless that already exists?) which, when tossed into/placed within (something of that nature) a pool of poison, purifies it into a pool of water! Of course, since water placed by the player evaporates in the Nether, this would mean you can't move the pool once it's purified...
Just a couple of thoughts! Really cool mod so far, by the way!

Not being able to put the cursed Tools out of your inventory would be annoying and probably hard to code, but what about making it so that every time you use its durability it, has a 10% chance of:
1st suggestion: making you lose one heart
2nd suggestion: giving you the affect it is supposed to give to the entity you are using it against (venomite poisons you, necromite gives you wither, the fireball-staff-thingy explodes in your face, but isn't destroyed)
3rd suggestion: a text appears in the chat saying "I have come for your soul" or something like that, and a mob called the devil spawns, it has 60 hitpoints, sets you on fire, and when you beat him; there's an axplosion with fire, he doesn't drop anything and a text in the chat says "I'll be back for what is mine"
also the cape looks awesome!
It took me a while but i did it, all legit in survival, i got every tool set (except netherack because i don't want it):
i think that necromite should be upped to be as strong as diamond (at least damage-Wise) because it is really hard to find and the .5 annoys me sooo much (i don't know why, i think it is mocking me)
And lastly, will you be using any of my texture in the next update, and do you want me to make more?
I don't think I will for this update, but I'll hold on to them just in case I use them later on.
I like the plan to add vile wood saplings to chest, that should definitely be implemented.
EDIT:
Question, does the current download include the update on the previous page?
Do i get one

What do you think about it?
Features:
-Capes for a select few.
-Increased mob spawn, especially Gluttons.
-A new crop, rarely dropped from Gluttons.
-The ability to use Ichorite shards as fertilizer for all Nether Crops.
-Obsidian doors and pressure plates.
-A unique texture for the top of Nether Furnaces.
Great suggestions!

On a second subject, do you intend to implement the following mobs in some shape or form also made by firehazurd?
