awesome mod having some issues like only 3 of the blocks have receipies and one requires fire .. which i can't make
and do you have to get get the crystals from an npc or something at present i can craft the ring and DHD but thats it NEI sows DHD and chevrons but DHD needs crystal i can't make/find and chevern requires fire

I think the recipes are temporary, as they don't really make sense, especially if you have other mods installed.
The recipes are not really temporary, what doesn't make sense? That's not to say they won't change when we get closer to releasing the other gates (they may or may not).

yeah i think i got them backwards sorry
i cant really read that but yeah the wiki is very limited as is most recipe information i have found on this mod so we are playing it anyways just used mine tweaker to fix the sand stone issue
but how do yo get the crystals you need for the DHD? i haven't found a villager that sells them or anything

Stargates are incredibly complex pieces of equipment, so the notion that they can be so easily crafted isn't very sensical.
There should definitely be some optional recipes that use other mods' items. I'd make them myself with something like Minetweaker, but that has horrible compatibility for 1.7.

If you say so i have had good luck fixing issues with modpack cross recipes with minetweaker in 1.7.10. Mods are still being updated daliy/weekly so lots of changes all the time can be hard to keep up with it all

Not trying to nit-pick or maybe it's been changed already, but isn't the last chevron that lights up (locks) supposed to be the top one? The spotlights I've seen shows the chevrons light up in a clockwise manner (the lower right one being last).

I completely changed the dialling sequence animations in 1.7.10. There were 49 revisions which came out before this which could have had broken animations; I can't really remember when I changed it. It's also worth noting that a majority of the spotlights are for earlier (eg, pre RC1-25) builds, which are out of date by many months.
I've released LanteaCraft 1.7.10b52, which fixes the random fire-in-recipes issues people were having -- apparently something broke in 1.7.10 and I hadn't noticed. I also fixed a few other issues relating to our recipes being broken, particularly surrounding our three ore blocks/ores/alloys. It also fixes a potential dupe-bug for Naquadah. As usual, please report any issues you find on our tracker.
Not to that scale But the concept of powering an entire base from a ZPM would be awesome. It'd also justify making them very rare too, otherwise they're just handy for powering gates and that's not exactly difficult as it is.

I cranked interdimensional energy usage up 5x and you can still dial 9 chevrons with a culinary generator.
Yeah, ZPMs aren't really useful at all at the moment.
This might have been covered already, but I've gone back a bit and can't seem to find it, but what power systems can the Stargates currently use? I'm aware that IC2 works, and someone's mentioned RF, but were there any others (MJ?)?

Would be cool to use a ZPM to power a forcefield like Modular Forcefields mod.

I would expect that to be available, otherwise the ZPMs are pretty much useless.
