Hello. I've been using Mariculture for quite some time now, without issue, and I really enjoy the mod. I have a rather large custom modpack I've been playing with on SSP that's gone through several versions of Mariculture without any trouble. Until now. Somewhere in between one of the "a" through "i" updates of 1.2.0 I started experiencing ton of lag. I hadn't suspected Mariculture since its never been an issue and started pulling out mods and testing since the lad was so bad that minecraft became unplayable at 1-5 fps. It took forever to narrow the culprit down since I use so many mods and so many had updated recently, but just today I pulled out Mariculture and everything is running smoothly. Just like it used to. I didn't really notice the lag at all until after I upgraded to 1.2.0i(2) from the first 1.2.0i. After some testing I can't figure out what's going on, but after config wipes, fresh downloads/installs and many new worlds, for whatever reason Mariculture is killing my fps in SSP. I take it out, things are fine, I put it back and Minecraft is unplayable. I haven't seen anyone else report this problem, but I don't use any obscure mods so I don't think its an unusual interaction. Plus, I know I had earlier versions of Mariculture working smoothly. IDK. I'm at a loss. Any more information I can provide you with that would help, please just ask. For now I'm playing without Mariculture until I can figure out a fix or a version that works for me comes out. Thanks Joshie!
Without actually seeing a crash report MrDende, it's not really something I could help with. BUT saying that I can take a wild guess since it's an error I see a lot due to messed up FTB Configs in that pack. Go in to the worldgen.cfg in the mariculture config folder and if ravine chance is at 0, set it to 25. Just a wild guess, but since you didn't post a report that's all i can do.

Perhaps you got more oysters or are near more? They are very badly done atm. And they could cause client lag.
Made a 2*2 Vat (which is listed having 30b capacity) and now im supposed to add 16b water and 24b molten salt (which of course wont fit). putting in some of each wont start a reaction so i can add more.
What am i missing ?

I had a little difficulty with this too- you will need 16 buckets of water and
24 buckets (I had to use the mariculture bottles - they hold a bucket each)
of quicklime. I have no idea where you came up with the idea of molten salt.
I don't understand how mB equates to buckets- it seems to make no sense,
but yeah- the 2x2 vat holds more than 40 buckets.
by the way, Joshie- shift clicking on a vat with empty bottles consumes the bottles
(I just lost a stack of 11) when i did it, there was magnesium dust in the vat.

Would it be possible for you to add in a Blacklist for items that can be repaired in the Blacksmith's Anvil?
Some items that are normally precious (E.G. Potion Flasks from Blood Magic) can be repaired in the anvil for very little cost compared to the normal process.
(Perhaps items in the blacklist would also not be able to be repaired by the Restoration enchant)
I'll talk to way about that. It's actually something he should be doing. He should be setting them as non-repairable in code, if he doesn't want other stuff to repair them. It's a better way to fix it, than me adding a blacklist, if he stops other methods of repair too :P.
that is strange.
see anything that strikes you as a possible culprit?
or which ones you have not used (that I may try to determine as much?) https://gist.github.com/anonymous/9223322
Nope, doesn't help. Another thing: I cannot see this recipe in NEI, but all other crucible recipes can. "Usage" for Bauxite Ore are just: melting it in TConstruct's melter, combining it with a Pyrotheum Dust and Ore Dictionary compatibility with Aluminum.
I've been having this issue as well (Resonant Rise experimental pack, with a few additions like Better Storage and Magical Crops; but the version's from a few weeks ago). I'll try with the latest version out and see if it's willing to behave.

Is there a way to speed up the crucible furnace? Especially compared to the TiC smeltery, its pace is rather excruciating, considering the hefty chunk of resources that goes into making it and its constant fuel drain.
Hyperkinetic upgrades speed up how fast it processes stuff. (Full ultimates and it takes like than 2 second per 2 pieces). Heating Upgrades make it heat up faster.

No it isn't. Sounds like you have a client-server fluid mis-sync.

Interesting, I'll have a look at what's going on ^_^. When I finish other stuffs
does molten salt even exist?

It does, but it's not used for anything (yet)

Check the last couple of pages, other people had this problem(bug with how it's meant to work), and they have solutions listed.

I am still unable to recreate it zdVictim, I'm able to pick up tanks perfectly fine.

You'll get Pressured Water in a Pressure Vessel this way.
Need to make indestructible blocks like in IC2 fortified.
