tools and blocks looks good as for vanilla pickaxes and vanilla coal
but pay attention to general cfg, with this setting (true-false) you can harvest all blocks with any thing in hand,
WITHOUT necessity to properly configue tool and blocks
idk about your opposite false-true combo, but its works for me, its works for all on crundeecraft:
and i recommend decrease blockamount to 100 instead 15000 + small blockradius ,
because 15000 call crash computer i think

Solved it.
Life is a Learning Curve....
Unfortunately, you're stuck on the bottom...amongst the bones of the stupid.
you need to know her internal mc name by nei/mtweaker and add to axe toollist
It could be just me .... but....
I've been looking everywhere to find out what permissions I need to assign to get this to work in Multiplayer.
What are all the permissions?
what do you mean by permissions?
quite simply, what are the permissions I need to add to the players group so that my players can use veinminer?
Looking through this whole thread, the only permission I had found is: portablejim.veinminer.server.MinerCommand
What are all the permissions?
If veinminer is on the server players can use veinminer. thats it. The commands modify what you can do with veinminer, but veinminer is always active and able to be used on the server. And im guessing you havent seen anything about permissions because there arent any in a normal forge environment. If you have op you can use the commands, if you dont you cant, like most commands.
mmm yea forge not support bukkit/spigot permission system - its bad, but people find another way - its item permission system
how its work:
1 ban item with mtweaker (or another tool) - delete recipe and nei.hide
2 give item for donators -
- trade blocks with private/protection (near spawn for example) ( many mods provide trade blocks like ic2 and others..)
- command block and button ( /give.. )
so
cw84 just write to allowing list tool only donator tool ( giving from above ways^) and delete all another tools from list and enjoy
please add me to vip-list on your server and pm ip
sry for bad language
plz fix wrong data in VM in-game help
/veinminer "reloadconfig" not "loadconfig" (wrong)
I use the current release of ForgeEssentials and anyone who does not have the *=true permission cannot use this mod. There must be something I need to add to the list?
? you already got the answers
Blame notepad. All other text editors work fine. I suggest using notepad ++
Hi there! I'm running a server for some friends of mine, I've got VeinMiner installed on all of our clients and the server. It runs fine until we try using Tinkers' Construct tools. The weird part is, TC tools work in our singleplayer worlds, but not on the server. I've tried manually adding the Tinkers' Construct iron pickaxe (id 6558) to the toollist, but nothing has come from that.
We're running FTB Infinity Evolved, latest version, on Minecraft 1.7.10.
How did you 'manually add' the tool to the tool list? You do NOT use ids in 1.7.10, you use the unlocalized name. It sounds like you did so correctly for the clients but possibly not for the server.
Manually adding as in using the /veinminer command. Makes sense that didn't work, then, if it's not using IDs. I don't know the new naming convention that items are using - NEI still displays the IDs >_> The thing is, I didn't have to do anything on my client - Tinkers Construct worked (and is still working, I'm testing it as I type this) right out of the box in SSP, but the same exact tool is not vein mining on the server.
help what if my veinminer is set to deactive on sneak
that is rather strange tbh. In my single player world i definitely had to manually add tinkers construct tools. I believe the unlocalized name (if you have waila or inv tweaks you can see it with f3 + h on the itemstack) for tinkers pickaxes is "tconstruct:pickaxe"
Ah yeah, adding "TConstruct:pickaxe" to the toollist made it work on the server. Very strange that it was working out-of-the-box for SSP... Thanks for the help!
use /mtweaker names or nei dump, then put metallurgy internal names into cfg
same solution^
