What do you mean by mod support? The mod fully supports adding modded blocks and tools using the configs and ingame commands, there is no need for the old mod support but there is a veinminer compat mod which allows other functionality. It is indeed for 1.7.10
You didnt ask for help for any specific thing so no one can help. Be more specific and actually describe your issues.
I think your mod made my game crashed

Press f3+h (in the world, not in your inventory) and then in your inventory mouseover the tool. It should have a tooltip that reads the name. The format of the name (modname:tool) is what you put in. In this case its going to be "/veinminer toollist pickaxe add ThermalFoundation:too.pickaxeBronze" dont forget to do "/veinminer saveconfig" afterwards
no, it didnt. Veinminer doesnt do anything to fluids, update your mods, one of them is not updated to the newer forge versions with fluid changes
Hey im using your mod for a long time and i cant figure out how to add modded ores maybe you can show a tutorial please?
There are in game commands "/veinminer blocklist pickaxe add [modid:block]" No tutorial needed really. Afterwards be sure to type "/veinminer saveconfig" to save what you just added/changed. Alternatively you can turn on one of the overrides in the config that allows all blocks to be veinmined.
Veinminer doesn't work for TConstruct gravel ores for me
even if I've added it to the block whitelist.
I have added it myself and gotten it working, so you are likely doing something wrong. You added it to the shovel list correct? Be sure you are using the correct naming format [mod:block] which can usually be found by holding "f3+h" in the world to see the names in the tooltips in inventories.
But i know that but i want to know how to add MODDED ores i tried it by typing [Mod:Block] Ex: Superheroes_unlimited:Black-Iron_ore
or through its ID but nop doesnt work
Because there is no standard to naming. Are you *certain* its named that? It could easily be "Superheroes_unlimited:blackIronOre" or any variation of capitals. You need to know the unlocalized name, if you have inventory tweaks it can show you the unlocalized name if you press f3+h in the world. Then when you mouseover it will show you the name you put in.
thank you very much
How do I add the trees from Thaumcraft? Is it possible to have the mod automatically detect the trees/ores that are put into the game by other mods?
Life is a Learning Curve....
Unfortunately, you're stuck on the bottom...amongst the bones of the stupid.
It does detect most ores. Thaumcraft trees also do something a little different than most trees so its always a little tougher to auto detect those. To add them just type "/veinminer blocklist axe add Thaumcraft:blockMagicalLog" then save the changes with "/veinminer saveconfig"
I don't know why but it's hit and miss getting this to work with 1.8
I have it installed and one time that I start up Minecraft and it's fine, the next couple times that I play Minecraft and it's not working. I don't get the text chat spam telling me that it's running, even though it's fine in the mods list.
Then maybe I'll start up Minecraft again that night and it will be working again.
Perhaps it's just not 1.8 compliant?
I havent had any issues getting the mod to work in 1.8. I will ask though, what forge version are you using? When the mod isnt working in game are there any errors in the log (and could you grab the log of a time when it doesnt work)? Have you made any configuration changes (overrides enabled or something)?
OK, thanks. I'll try that. But I've run into another problem: every time I start FTB Infinity, I have to manually start the mod. Is there a way to permanently set it to always be working? I tried saving the config, but still end up rebooting the mod.

I dont really understand your issue. What do you mean by start the mod? What do you mean by rebooting the mod? Set it permanently working?
Do you mean that the mod doesnt carry over when you *update* infinity?
Every time I start FTB, I have to issue the command /veinminer mode no_sneak the turn it on. I looked at the config file, but can't figure out what is the line I have to change to make the mods always on.

If you make a change using the veinminer command it isnt saved to the config until you type "/veinminer saveconfig" so just use that next time
