Flesh golems are THOUSANDS of times better than liquid death.
1 flesh golem has enough aspects to craft ANOTHER flesh golem + spares. You can continuosly recycle them and gain warp. well... at least as long as you have rotten flesh. Yeah, like that is actually a resource that anyone can run out of
If you instead are going to use what you craft, well... liquid death will be
actually to gain enough warp, i just took my armor off, stood on a cactus and started eating zombie brains. they only give temporary warp and thats much easier to get rid of XD
i used about a stack and a half of them, but got my research unlocked.
I tried other infusing recepies, normal jars/big jars (I forgot the name) and I got the same message. When I start the infusing, Minecraft crashes, and the world is not playable anymore XD
You have a mod using an outdated thaumcraft API, namely dragonAPI. Open the mod's file then delete a folder inside named "thaumcraft".
I'm having some trubble. I started a test world and cheated in a Thaumium bossed silverwood scepter and some want focus but when i press F to bring the fokus select upp nothing happens. Ive checked the controlls and no conflikts detected. i also tried changed it to Right Ctrl. I'm using some outher mods and addons but they "shouldent" breake it. is there another way to attach the Fokus? using Thaumcraft-1.7.10-4.2.1.4
You can't use foci with a scepter. There are three classes of wands: Wand, Staff, and Scepter. The Staff can use foci, but can't be used for crafting. A scepter can be use for crafting, but can't be used for foci. A wand can be used for both, but stores less vis then the other two.

I can't stand being that wasteful. If I am going to gain warp, I want to get something for my time and resources. As a result I prefer crafting and research to gain all my warp.

the problem is scepters can't have focus attached you need normal wand or staves to hook up a focus... scepters are meant to crafting only source of vis (read the thaumonomicon entry)

NUUUU you should have said it sooner... now I'll have to make a ton of unneeded soap... I didn't even knew you could eat those
I was thinking... if I attach bellows to alembics will this increase the export rate of the alchemical furnace's buffer? if not would be awesome implementation I often have to burn large amount of stuff and fuel get wasted because the furnace can't output essentia as fast as it burns it...

sorry dude, i just thought about this yesterday. XD
i had so many zombie brains sitting around, and thought it would be the ideal way to unlock the research. i just used a single piece of soap to get rid of it again.
also, can we get the essentia blobs back please?
id just like to be able to centralize my herba production again, and transport the essentia with mirrors. not shure why they were removed. right now essentia mirrors dont even seem to serve a purpose anymore.

no worries I'll have to use a little more resources... and find a good source of sano... cakes are easy but a pain to mass craft.
about mirrors according the book the only thing that can use it now is the runic matrix... like if anybody would produce essentia too far from the infusion place... the only reasonable use was with the lamps but now them accept only piped in essentia which is often tricky to move where needed. hope that gets changed back or at least an alternative way is provided.

i just bred manabeans for sano. it really doesnt take long.
aqua + terra = victus. combine that with ordo and you get sano. its just 2 steps and you can make an easy sano farm. ive got a couple of stacks of sano beans.
i did the same for auram.
over time i want to get all the difficult and rare aspects with manabean farms, so i can automate things like bath salts and soap.
ive even got a large lucrum + metallum farm running and im producing gold with automated alchemy. you can also use phials of lucrum to trade with pech.

yeah I should really set some beans going on... for the auram I have no problems with my whisp spawner... steady supply of aura plus bonus random aspects
wow it's been a while since I last got the first post on a page... I'll name you "FluffyTheDestroyersOfWorlds101"

here is a hint, i discovered a bit later on. if you want a shortcut to the higher tier aspects, try dealing with pech.
while you only find primal manabeans in the wild, pech still trade you random beans. meaning, if you do that before you start with your manabean breeding, you may get lucky and get some of the higher tier aspects youre looking for from them.
this can save you a lot of work, as you just need to multiply those beans.
my current project is tenebre and alienis beans. you can imagine why

Bellows have no effect on alembics. If you're mass producing essentia then use allumentium rather then mundane fuels. Not only dose it last a long time, it also gives the alembics a bit of a speed boost.

Due to my snarky and sarcastic personality I can easily be seen as a jerk. If I've offended you in any way it was likely unintended.

tried still not fast enough so if I have to waste fuel I'd rather waste coal than alumentum
Azanor, could you add a toggle to alchemy golems that switches their alembic selection from "most full" to "least full?" That way I can add a wood golem in "least full" mode and stop having those darn 1-point-of-arbor alembics clogging the stack when I run hopper loads.

You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!
For mana bean farms, I've gone over to using an Ordo-enchanced Use golem for replanting. Not only does it not misplace beans, but even hybrid or "cross contaminated" beans get replaced with the proper type for their position. Best of all, I can switch over a whole section to a new bean just by telling the Use golem -- even if I don't have enough beans to plant the whole section. As the current crop matures, it will automatically be replaced by the new one (yes, with some cross-contamination, but that gets sorted out within a few generations, and it all ends up in the chest.).
Now to plug a charcoal farm into my Herba/Praecantio farm.... Meanwhile, I'm trying to figure out where to put my eventual energized node , the place is pretty crowded. I'm digging out a new floor below... and I just realized I need a 3-high area for it. (I've already picked out the nodes I want to combine for an all-aspects node.)

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
Some world glitch erased all my research just as I was getting into kami stuff (I could still scan things though) and I've gotten most of it back except the last couple things in the Eldritch tab. My question is, how do I edit my world data to get the eldritch research completed and start Kami again?
(My only mods are Thaumcraft and Thaumic Tinkerer)
I already have NBT Explorer and am pretty good at using it, but couldn't find any research stuff in the world save with it

You may call me The Madman, as there is no name that suits me better.
I happen to make modded survival maps, if your interested see my latest: The Asylum

Used the latest version of Thaumcraft and Forge 1232.
A seed in which you spawn right next to a large, natural taint biome.
