Found some curious things going over some of the TC5 assets, and wondered if you could shed some light on them.
What is the Watcher mob? What was its purpose/intended design? It had assets in TC4 as well, and seems to resemble the vanilla water guardians from what I can tell.

Thaumeme Supreme and madman behind Thaumic Dyes (TC4 Addon), and other magical disasters.

Looks like an Elder Guardian with an ender pearl for eye. Or maybe it is our eyes that have yet to open.
In regards to the MC versions. I am still developing TC 6 for MC 1.10.2. When it is ever done I will start working on updating it to whatever the latest/greatest version of MC is at that point. Yay. That should be fun.
I think the port to 1.11.2 isnt bad but i think from 1.11.2 to 1.12.* is harder. still not too bad tho

On that note, are you using the registry events? GameRegistry.register() is not present in 1.12+ in favour of the using the registry events. If you're not too far into TC6 dev, it might be worth switching to them now rather than later when there'll be much more to change.

Yep, that's pretty accurate, speaking from experience.
Azanor, thank you for your tremendous hard work, I and all my friends thank you for such a great modification, I wish you luck in all your Affairs, and I'm really sorry that you're probably ceased development of this mod,but I want to say thank you...

Glad to see this mod is being carried forward, even if only for a short while longer. Getting the mod for 1.10.2 would definitely keep me held over, as that's the version that myself and most of my friends seem to have settled with for now.
Azanor, you might want to consider skipping 1.11 and 1.12 once you're done with 1.10.2 because 1.13 is just around the corner and said to have a lot of optimizations, so this might be an update similar to 1.8.

I believe 1.12 will still be prevalent by the time he gets around to it. 1.13 isn't just around the corner, it's just been said to come within the next year.
How come normal standardized Thaumaturgy symbol is similar to the symbol of the crimson cult, that is full of forbidden knowledge?
All magical knowledge originated from single sources. As time passed, this base knowledge was distributed throughout the lands. Common practices and symbols were used by many peoples. More knowledge was added, but the basic structures remained.

"We live on a placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity, and it was not meant that we should voyage far."
Presumably, at some point, the crimson cult used a wand on a bookshelf, and took the symbol from the book, since the cult's studies are rooted in Thaumaturgy.

Please don't PM me asking for help, I will just redirect you to the appropriate forum, where there are others who are far more skilled than me.
This is not the signature you are looking for.
