I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.
There is a lot of info at this topic (1700 pages, god..) but i cant find clear information about the stable branch/version of the mod. I know this is "suspended" for now but is the "6.1.BETA26 for Minecraft 1.12.2" stable at the moment? There is some mod pack you guys recommends who includes this mod and is stable?

It's stable and fairly complete, for some values of "fairly". There's not much Eldritch stuff at the moment.
I do support the decision to rather focus on things that can improve you in real life, but the question is if Azanor is willing to pass the torch. There are alot of people still playing and modding minecraft who would gladly continue with the development and support of thaumcraft, but that is for Azanor to decide.

For as far as I know, Azanor has already transferred his mod into the custody of some trusted mod developers and community members.
I believe that the plan for now is nothing more than fixing bugs and porting to other Minecraft versions, if and when there is enough time available.
For now, I am more than happy enough with this.
But it would be cool if, one day, a person or team with a very similar vision to Azanor's could take over the mod's development and add/change awesome content in the way that Azanor used to do. :'(

I Crafttweaked some recipes to get some of the inaccessible content. For example, made primordial pearls craftable (infusion crafting from causality collapsers with dangerous instability), or eldrich and ancient stones (via alchemy). Otherwise, obtaining pearls is absurdly difficult.
Infusion pillars made out of the stones seem to work, but I couldn't make the actual infusion altar out of them. Guess that part is still missing.
I can copypaste these recipes here, but there really isn't much to them.

The infusion altar itself is made from regular stone, I just replaced the pedestals around it. They did reduce the instability and are able to hold items, but, now that I think of it, I think I didn't actually try using them for crafting...
I incorporated some stuff of other mods I use, mostly somewhat rare stuff. You can hold an item in your hand and use "/mt hand" to get the code for it if you want to change them.
- The item pedestals are indeed functional. They seem to provide their boni as well.
- The infusion pillars (The four curved things around the Infusion Matrix) are functional as well, if placed in Creative Mode. They are a little tricky to place, but if you manage to make them all face inward and rightclick the matrix, it will actually take on the same color as the stones
- However, neither ancient nor eldrich Infusion Pillars can actually be crafted. You can place them like you would place regular arcane stone, but using salis mundus doesn't transform them into pillars.
I have long considered the Thaumcraft mod series one of the greatest mods of any game. It always felt thematically consistent, well polished, and beautifully integrated with the base game. Thank you for all your work, Azanor.
Has anyone got news about the team that took over ?
I haven't seen them communicate here and have no idea where they are, since there's no update about fixing bugs/updating the mod, I wonder if they're working on it/will work on it all.
Not criticizing, I'm just curious about it since Azanor dropped it, we had news about a team working on it again and since then, radio silence
Thanks praecipitator about the recipes and checking if the altars worked, I wouldn't have thought that just creating the recipes would be enough for most of it to work.

Thanks for the testing. Would it possible to add a recipe for the pillars themselves, so we can obtain them in survival?

Probably yes. However, as I said, they are somewhat difficult to place, and when mined, they revert back to being just two stones.
I guess you could make the recipe really simple, just two of the blocks placed vertically. So that you can just keep re-crafting and placing them until you get it right.
Is there any information about the new mantainer btw? Last information was like: yes, there is someone. But, is there anything besides it? Will this 1.12.2 version be ever updated by this new mantainer? Or will it be like 1.14 and above only, and/or not really Thaumcraft, but more like a spiritual successor, or what?
Has anyone got news about the team that took over ?

From what I read in some reddit comments they are working on it, but targeting 1.14 forge, so it'll be a while anyway.
There's also Arcana, a spiritual successor that is being made for Thaumcraft. Not sure what version it'll end up being.

Team CoFH has a Discord server with a channel dedicated to Thaumcraft, so if you have any questions that haven't been answered already... Development of Forge and their own mods has priority over that of Thaumcraft, though.

Yay!!
Hello everyone,
There is a lot of info at this topic (1700 pages, god..) but i cant find clear information about the stable branch/version of the mod.
So while exploring my world I came across this:
It's nice to know the Hollow Hills are back again. I did not think they were in the mod as I did a bunch of exploring and didn't find one until now.
I do support the decision to rather focus on things that can improve you in real life, but the question is if Azanor is willing to pass the torch. Aka, 1.12.2 is truly abandoned... Oh well. At least I won't break anything with my crafttweaker scripts.
Do you have a link for that arcana? Google only gave me that:
https://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding-java-edition/minecraft-mods/2453697-arcana-rpg-5-dimensions-100-mobs-bosses-minibosses
Edit: here are my recipes for the pillars:

This forum absolutely refuses to let me just post them, therefore pastebin.
