1. It's true the Arcane Stone Recipe isn't in the thaumnomicon. But it's in JEI. Still it should be in the book, there are ppl playing without JEI.
2. I'm kinda afraid to keep Smelting things to get escentia because i'll get cover in FluX... And eventhough i'm surrounded by Silverwood Trees and Silverl Flowers, Flux doesn't go away... And at the same time i cant get tain to unlock the escentia tubes. I've have walked an insane amount of surface, and although i found lots of magical forest, there is no tain land (at least i remember 1.8 there used to be)
3. Is me or the Eldrich guys that come from the Portal are far to OP? I can kill the knights but the mages are waaaaaaaaaaaaay to strong... even wearing a full diamond arm or and shield they usually kill me before I can get to even hit them... without taking into account their fire tend to spread like a virus destroying any forest close to it.
4. I've searched for an insane surface unable to find a single Slime. So After 6 days of playing in a word I decided to cheat... but I really think there should be less recipes with sth that is far rarer than diamond (i mean it, i had like 50 diamonds legally mined and not a single slime)

thaumcraft 6.1 beta 12 neither the crucible nor the smelter will take rotten flesh and holding shift over it sais it has no aspects. the crucible does do dmg to me.

Im not sure what to tell you other then humanas definitely should be in rotten flesh, if its not its a bug. if i had to take a wild guess it might be something to do with a mod conflict changing the data on rotten flesh preventing it from having aspects but without a mod order its hard to really know for sure, second you should probably update the beta since we are on 13 now, 3rd, you have never been able to mix essentia types before, only break them down, the closest thing we had to that was the mana bean system but that hasnt been in the mod for quite some time now.

I was thinking if Azanor using some time of code or personal graphical program to (i dint now, log area in radius 5 for items block and interaction for 5s?) log and then sort thinks like cauldron so he can see all variables before and after a item has tossed down... and see whats going on. As i have the feeling the standard logger dint do the magic. Probably this program can help whit debugging, when his bug hunters can record bug event.
Im not playing lot so i dint know about current crimson heart, but will be nice if they mages have other spell attack to, that only fire ball? (maybe is on list to do that they will have actual wands (ehm goblets) whit all elemental possibilities for fights and (leveling?). And light will indicate what element they use. And there will be chance to drop that weapon, or orb.)
Are whips drooping random shards? (based on they element?) Can they just drooping permutation and aurum only?

mage defender - a mob that can be villager friendly? Using spells to defend colony, run towards crying colonist or run off when his ho go don to 50% and dint return if is not until 75%. Be stronger if you trade a thing to him. Or donate a orb whit battle ability. Be still friendly until received damage from you dint cross 50% of his hp. Be spawned by spell or size of the colony. Or be spawned as a assasin, whit bounty on you head. (only if you xp level +30?) (probably idea for mooders)

The trade guy from magic forest are kleptoman. He spawned or somehow get to cave. When i was mining he just go for the drop and i accidentally hit him. His hitting to me has not been so accidentals. So be careful when hes around.
Sometimes or by some mods. Zombies and skeletons wears armor. Can they wear a thaum stuff to?
I know this isn't directly Thaumcraft related but I still don't understand your lag issues. 1.12 is so much less laggy than 1.10. If you aren't trying to run some huge modpack I recommend an average of around 4GB of RAM to Minecraft (leaving about the same for your PC) and reducing your Mipmap levels to zero or lowest available (this may take a moment or two to update). On top of that, set your Forge settings (hit escape > Mod Options > type "Forge" without quotes > click Minecraft Forge > click config > click Client settings > and set "Force threaded chunk rendering" to true (or false if it's already true). That should help in most situations.
Regarding your suggestion of a casting spell. Keep in mind the magic system has been revamped again since 1.10

I'm having trouble getting Essentia mirrors to work... is anyone successful with them, or is this a bug report candidate?
2 linked mirrors, only one is showing coordinates for the other although they both show the "linked" texture, which I assume is normal. One is on the ceiling next to my jar walls, within 4 blocks of both. Another is 6 blocks away from my Infusion Altar.
No essentia travels through them, evidenced by the Altar going crazy and dumping flux goo all over the place.
Am I forgetting how these work, by what's in the Thaumonomicon I don't see anything I should be doing any differently than I did with TC5....

To access the Golemancy section, the Thaumonomicon is asking me to "Study an animated construct". I think I am supposed to study a golem of some sort , but where do you find one to study?

Never mind, I figured it out. You have to make a Minecraft Golem 1st.
Man, i just encountered with a crimson rift and it was downright comical.
I saw the portal on top of a mountain pillar in the cliffs biome, and of course i built a cobble-pillar to get up to it.
Just as i try to scan the portal, cultist start popping out! and i throw my thaumometer away just as they knock me off my cobble pillar. I survived the drop, but in my panic i must have clicked outside the window because i cannot move. My thaumathurge being obviously too flabbergasted by the shock of the event to move. And then just as i regain control and begin running away i'm killed.
Overall, it was fun! One heck of a way to first be introduced to the crimson cultists though.
My thaumaturge will probably remember that encounter for a while.

That's why I always maximize the window, so my thaumaturge will be shocked, but still able to move. I'm actually starting a minimalist pack that has the Monk mod, Millenaire, and a few more QoL mods, and may even be part of a nicely made YouTube series if I can get my zombie apocalypse survival world finished up (just need to build my zombie apocalypse base, and reinforce some nearby villages).

i have tried to disable any addons to thaumcraft to see if that works but even with thaumcraft alone it keeps crashing the same way
You have an extensive modlist, something in there could be causing incompatibilities with TC. One thing you can do is to remove all mods except for TC, restart the game, make sure you don't need to reinstall Minecraft and Forge first.
Then add your mods back in in groups, and when it starts crashing again you'll know it's something in the latest group that causes a conflict.
Otherwise you might have to wait for someone with the same problem to come along.

I just create an Arcane Patter Crafter, but it doesn't work no matter what I tried.
