I have a few questions (havent been playing TC6 betas so far as im only working with 1.7 and 1.12 mods)
1. Will TC6 Have Game Stages support along with Modtweaker?
2. Is the champion mob system returning, and this time will it be able to add champion tags to non-TC and Vanilla monsters via config, an Item, or NBT? Also will it be more open to allow addon creators to add more modifiers?
3. Is runic making a return? Can you release the API/Code (whatever addon makers use for other Thaumcraft stuff). The Thaumic Dyes mod for 1.7 was really good with Runic upgrades that triggered when runic broke, or were passives, and I would like to see more like that, as well as the ability for modders to tweak with the recharge speed of runic.
4. Can we get an admin mode for OPs that disables warp effects?

+1 on the idea of runic shielding returning (I would especially miss the Amulet of Emergency Shielding, which you mentioned indirectly) and the idea of some sort of admin mode... although frankly shouldn't creative disabling warp effects be sufficient, as opposed to implementing a separate player state?

note: I haven't played with the latest iteration of the mod since Beta 6, so hopefully you've already addressed some of this. However, since B6 isn't that long ago, this feedback should prove valuable nonetheless
you know, as much as I love some of the changes you've been making to the mod, I feel that, in the process of changing research and the aura system, you removed some of the stuff I liked about those things.
aura nodes, while obviously problematic in that it can be incredibly frustrating when the Random Number Gnome is against you and you can't find the node with the aspects you need, it's also incredibly fun to try to build up a huge node to use as a power source for all your operations. Perhaps you could add them back as blocks from which energy flows into the aura, but that you don't have to directly draw from because the aura is all around you. I'm not sure about the details, but I know if anyone can pull it off, you're one of them.
As for research It's absolutely brilliant for the most part, but theory crafting still feels just a bit... monotonous. I'm not sure what to exactly do about it, but when in doubt, look at what worked before. For instance, while a full-blown "connect-the-cells" minigame like in previous versions obviously doesn't fit the current model, perhaps you could still implement a theory crafting card that uses a smaller minigame involving linking 2 distant aspects. Example flavor text: "You decided to do some meditation (...with arcane mini games). Perhaps if you examine how aspects interconnect, something will come to you"
to clarify, this theory-crafting card would fit best, in my opinion, as granting alchemy points, and maybe eldritch or something else as a byproduct of trying to broaden your mind
I'm torn on 1.12 move. On one hand, there's a number of mods that only exist for 1.12. On another hand, there's a number of mods that did not made it yet to 1.12.
Let's hope this will provoke more people to pull their weight in catching up to TC!

any chance of getting baubles that go in the body slot, also i cant seem to be able to use either golems or the advanced auto crossbow. it just wont let me put them down.
Edit1: after some debugging it appears that mocreatures for some odd reason was preventing me from using the advanced auto crossbow and the golems, dont know why it just was.

With the new focus system (which I find to be pretty cool) be VERY careful if you combine plan + dig.
Unless, of course, you love instant, mass destruction. (Oh wait...)
But really. Don't even put the focus in the gauntlet until you're in an area where you don't mind destroying everything.
Plus, has anybody discovered how to make multiple, scattered Arcane Mines? Arcane Mine + Scatter (or Scatter + Arcane Mine) only makes several mines, in a clump. I imagine spraying Arcane Mines all over a field of oncoming foes, and watching them all run over them. (Arcane Mine is especially helpful with Projectile.)
Does anybody think that the focus cooldown is a bit long? Unfortunately, it looks like it will stay that way until 1.12, unless I messed up the hotfix download.
Although 1.10 was the beta stage for TC6, I'm a bit bummed... I started a 1.10 world just for TC6, and I suppose it is now obsolete.

I like the new mechanic for focus customization. However, and this is to be expected in a beta, It could definitely use some balancing passes. One thing in particular, the scatter modification probably should either not be stackable, or have an effect multiplier reduction with two trajectory forks (it currently keeps full damage with two forks). You can make some truly overpowered foci by stacking multiple instances of scatter with two forks.
On another note, I'd like to throw out a quick idea for a focus medium: Enchant. For a short duration, this medium would apply the effects of the focus to your held main hand item, adding a little extra elemental damage and/or other magical attributes to your melee attacks.

no prob. also anyone got a fast way to level golems. oh an can we by any chance make golems the size of say normal golems like the iron ones, because if im being honest a golem half my size is not intimidating enough to keep away creepers

Pro tip: if you craft foci with effect but without direction, the effect will be applied to YOU!
On a related note, jumping height for level 5 Air focus could be higher for the damage it causes…

I was going to ask about pre-golem ways to move essentia from one jar to another, but the filling/emptying transfusers can do it.

I believe that is a bug with optifine. Optifine is pretty buggy with TC since TC5
