Void Stuffs are currently not implemented. They will come at a later date.
Question: Are spawn chunk protected against Tain? If no and massive tain outbreak occurred and you home is lost the world will be practically lost, yes? How about player dead count to reduce or wiping % of taint infestation on spawn. And probably turn the previous infested area into nether Rock.
Antique Atlas Its a map book whit marking ability. Will it have some add-on to support it? I mean if it will auto mark obelisk and recording maze on outher world? (probaly wrong site askink for it)
I wonder if addons mods creators start working on their ad-dons if there will be mod-pack on technic launcher site. (For upgrades when it comes)
So, just a little bit of theorycrafting about the Eldritch research. My guess is that the "Delving into the Eldritch" research section is blank on purpose. I think that it will either be blank, or be illegible scribblings that you can't see/read until you have enough warp to do so, I believe it's that way as a progress gate to hold some players who happened to gain access to the section earlier than intended, since you can actually get it really early.
But hey, that's just my idea as to why it's blank, and I know I'm probably wrong, but hey, theorycrafting is fun.

I like the idea of the world being infected, I just don't want to spend 4 years making sure it doesn't. I think increasing how fast you can clear it by hand would be awesome, but I also want it spreading to still be a threat. (Ignore this if there are ways to clear it easier further on in TC. I haven't gotten to any ways to clear it magically. This still applies to early game, however. For now I'm just going to turn down the spread.)

I believe there's a TF2 mod that has sentries. Get some metal and build one of those babies, never need those wimpy TC turrets when you have that tripod mounted little ol' number.

its in the beta and is craftable, i havent made one myself yet cause i havent had much in terms of flint and arrow to keep it full, but its there moved to artiface but needs early golamancy research to start

I'm very happy that Thaumcraft is back. It's my favorite mod for MC by far and I missed it a lot. But old problems is back, and are even getting worse.
1. No gradual progression. You have to visit every biome and collect drop from every mob (exaggerating a bit, but still) before you can even start making anything useful from the mod. And then you just unlock 80% of the book in one sitting.
Even in TC5 you could build some useful wand relatively early, but now you have to build a *censored* glove instead with *redacted* hare pelts
2. Explosive taint growth without any warning. Even if you are careful, Smeltery alone can start the chain reaction, and you suddenly have a taint biome where your base were. And there is no way to stop it. And there are no warnings before it's too late. It was bad before, but now there is also OP taint beast thrown in that can not allow you to even save stuff from your chests.
I think Taint should build up way more slow, and there should be warnings like grass discolorations, etc BEFORE taint is in unstoppable stage.
I made a couple videos (more coming) to help people get into the new Thaumcraft 6. First one explains how to get into it and a few tips on how to get past some sticking points.The second shows the Alchemy branch. I hope these are helpful and people enjoy them.
* Most multi-target (scatter/chaining) damaging foci seem woefully underpowered. Chaining Magic with Potency only does a single heart of damage, and chain targets take none (although the bolt does visually jump to them).
* Break+Scatter+Charging+Frugal makes for a rapid-fire mining shotgun that uses next to no vis. (Maybe have Break's mining level correlate to effective potency?)
* Ice projectiles (at least with Scatter) don't freeze water.
* A non-damaging (i.e. Rift) bolt that comes anywhere near a mob targets the mob and does nothing, rather than continuing on to a block. (One of my favorite tricks is dropping mobs into Rift pits, but I keep hitting their feet)
* Damaging projectiles damage the user when attacking something at point-blank range.

When I kill a taint seed, another one quickly takes its place, essentially making fighting the taint even more impossible.
Also, the taint tendrils on "taintified" things move, I am unsure if that is intentional or not.
P.S. Only the ores & the crystals spawn, nothing else.
Step 1: Make a bow.
Step 2: Enchant said bow with every enchantment possible.
Step 3: Shoot taint seeds until you drop or until the taint starves and dies.
I'm sorry I can't offer anything better, but until azanor bestows a method of actually stopping taint spread or scrubbing flux directly out of chunks, it's the least painful way.

I think a better idea would be the ability to make a tool that cleanses or cuts through taint easier. Kind of like the clentaminator from Terraria. Passive purification is nice, but doesn't sound fun or difficult imo. Basically, my current way of fighting it is just placing torches on it to destroy it instantly, which is super boring.

Maybe make blocks adjacent to lava or fire immune to taintification?
Are silvertrees immune to taint ?
Minecraft without Thaumcraft is like a pizza without cheese, tasteless !!!
