I have a problem with Forbidden Magic and Witching Gadgets in 1.7.10 version, Thaumcraft 4.2: If i put both on my .minecraft, they crash the game. With just one of the two doesn't crash. Any solution to this problem? I really like this addons.

It's true, mod author REALLY like to add key functions to their mods, even though a button in a GUI would often be more convenient.

LOL too true on the piano modpacks. GUI buttons are more consistent with MC's style anyway, why add a billion keybinds that are never going to fit on a normal keyboard? One or two, sure, for stuff like jetpacks where there's really no other good way to toggle it at will. But the whole stinking keyboard?? It makes no sense! xD

LOL this has to become a joke addon at some point, though maybe with a made-up Latin name... I have some ideas for troll equipment, stuff to do with other peoples' temporary Warp levels for the most part... Though I'd suggest throwing in a Tainted jetpack just for fun. Not a serious addon idea BTW, more of a parody, so don't abuse. xD
I hope someday there's more magic in Minecraft, though I know it's not likely to happen. In the meantime, I play modded a lot. I enjoy a lot of other games too, so don't expect me to be on the forums all the time.

Constantly getting this on launch from a fresh install of minecraft with the only mod being thaumcraft could really use some help since this is the only mod i really care for playing.

Well a possible concept for that is to be able to craft a version of the casting gauntlet with claws on it for added melee damage. Then, you could be Wolverine! =)

Void claws could work, but what about the fact that the gauntlet is an offhand item? I think it would be cooler if there were a focus to make you reshape any void metal weapon into a two-handed variant temporarily, by stimulating the Void Metal's capacity to reshape itself. Then you would have a choice: use a ranged focus for targets far away but only have a typical one-handed sword to hit foes with up close, or use the reshape focus to gain a frighteningly powerful melee advantage at the cost of losing range. Changing out either the gauntlet or the sword from either hand would reset the change obviously, since the void metal wants to return to its original shape and it takes the vis of the gauntlet to maintain its more powerful form. The two-handed stuff could have slightly better melee range and considerably higher damage than the one-handed, but just like in other games with choice between one-hand and two-hand weapons, you miss out on stuff like shields.

Azanor, there's just been a new snapshot released. Does the fact that there's another update on the way affect your plans?
Highly doubt that it will. Keep in mind it will take a few months before an official minecraft 1.12 release is set and then another month or two further for forge to update. Considering that his current target is 1.10.2 with maybe a 1.11 release, it's highly unlikely he's going to change course.
