Is there a way to farm Aurum Essentia? Wisp hunting isn't really an effective way of gathering quantities of this and I haven't found any information on Magic Shrooms being farmable...
It's there a way to setup a Taint Biome that golems can somehow farm?
It isn't? I mean, if you are in a mod pack that has spawners you can always capture a wisp and place it in a mob grinder.
Even if you can't, I had great success simply finding a wisp spawner (a ... obsidian altar of some kind in a nearby hills biome) and building a dark room around it, and visiting that each time I needed auram.
At least in TC5 we no longer destroy nodes for auram. I hated destroying them in TC4.
1 tree that I planted way before still has his pure node but another that I planted lost it. Do pure nodes just vanish on random tick or is this a bug in 5.1.3?
Pure nodes get smaller (and eventually vanish) as they suck up flux.
Can you chop a silverwood tree in a way so you can place a stabilzer beneath the pure node or will the node be gone if you cut the block beneath it?
can you drag the node out with the node manipulator and then stabilize it?
You can mine out the whole tree with no damage to the node. In TC4 the node was a block you could accidentally (or on purpose) destroy, but now they just float in the air.
Azanor, are you planning to add something new into the eldritch tab? You have removed node manipulation and advanced essentia storage, but you ditn´t add anything new. You have added some new stuff to all other tabs, but not to eldritch one. I expect a new powerful weapon (primal crusher does a lot of damage, but it´s not a weapon), better armor (void robes don´t provide better protection, than fortress armor, just extra vis discount) and maybe even more things, that were in TC 2, but not in TC 4 like void chest and travelling portals. And maybe in the future the player will be able to travel somewere further after defeading final boss in eldritch maze like in the end after 1.9 version of minecraft.
Travel portals: yes please. Granted, the void realm is hostile to mortals in TC4/TC5 lore(quote from the magic mirror page). However:
1: By the time you get to the Primordial Pearl, you're pretty much a crazed taint-lover, so a bit of reckless experimentation wouldn't be uncalled for,
2: Primordial Pearls are supposed to have vast, strange, and very much Eldritch powers. Couldn't you use one to travel the void realm "relatively" safely? I mean, there could still be side-effects, but couldn't the pearl stop you from dying instantly, perhaps through some type of spatial "Warp Bubble"? Just a thought. As for the other things mentioned, I do like some of the ideas, especially the Eldritch dim one. Who knows, maybe you could tie the two together... using an even-more-potent artifact, say, from the true homeland of the Eldritch people, would help alleviate the side effects of void travel when used instead of a pearl to build portals.

and I guess you cannot prevent them from vanishing by using a node stabilizer, right? oh well, now I know. ty for explaining!

I grind goo and tendrils from tainted land and use a handmirror to send them to my home base before they decay in my hands and taint me
Home mirror has botania hopperhog plant with chest next to it near my alchemical furnace. lots of aurum (and vitium to make eternal bloom plants to hold taint at bay...)
Problem with pure nodes is they dont last. just a few days and they are gone. I need some lasting aura nodes.
They seem to last quite a while for me. If you're producing enough flux to kill off a pure node in only a couple days then I'm amazed your home isn't a tainted wasteland by now.

Due to my snarky and sarcastic personality I can easily be seen as a jerk. If I've offended you in any way it was likely unintended.
Thaumcraft 4 I gues? That and in thaumcraft 5 using a mirror equals creating flux.
TC5, the tainted land already is full of flux and at my homebase stands a silverwood tree with a pure node that gets rid of the little taint the furnace and mirror produces. I have 3 filters on the furnace. Made 25 bloom and flux is zero while pure node is still alive... ofc dont go overkill with it but doing like a stack of goo is working fine for me...
I use a dioptra with a taint crystal to monitor the flux in and around my base...
some observations from early work on automated silverwood node farm:
a newborn pure node (21 vis) adds 3 vis to the bully it is consumed by
greatwood golems can survive for about 5 seconds when stuck in a silverwood tree
a quick follow-up, ran a trial on 10 silverwood trees:
I spawned 6 nodes on 10 trees. On average the parent node gained 3.8 vis per spawn and 1.9 vis per tree. I got two earth, three water, and one spiritus node, all pure. The average vis in the newborn node was 20.2
given these rates it would not be hard to automate node production if only to offset flux. I think you would want to stabilize the nodes after a while and switch locations. i'm still working out the, er.. occupational hazards for the golems but I think this could work very well once the investment is made.
how i "Give Bone Meal To The Crystals"? or how i make this grows quickly
Crystals only grow when there's a large amount of vis in an area that it begins to overflow. Try placing a crystal seed in the same chunk as a node and you'll see lots of progress with it's growth (make sure the crystal is the same aspect as the node).

Thanks i'll try it, another question.
How i get vitium shards quickly and without creating a taint biome?

I speak Spanish, so if you notice a mistake is because I am not an expert in English D:
But you said there was no entry for Infinity? I'm confused now...
Infinity does not have it's own entry, but is mentioned in others.
The part about the bone bow not needing an arrow when enchanted with infinity I've not seen anywhere in the book, there is only one mention of infinity at all in the thaumonomicon and that's solely in the primal arrows section previously referenced. I just think it would be nice if the bone bow is meant to behave that way that maybe a little blurb could be included in the bone bow page, or perhaps on the enchantments page in the basic info

This exactly, however tainted crystals use flux in the aura instead... meaning you'll probably have to either craft them individually in the crucible, or find an area far away from home that you don't care about, plant them next to a crucible, and dump in ALL that spare cobble. (unless the area is already a tainted lands, then it has enough flux already.) (Also, don't do it within loading distance of your base. If you do so, I am not responsible for your tainted house.) (Side note: do not attempt to enter tainted lands before you're ready for at LEAST the nether. Taint poison is a hazard, but last I knew you could break the taint fibers to stop from getting hit by it. On the other hand, the mobs are awful.)
Edit: tainted crystals are used for many useful machines, so that's why I went so in-depth.

So you do still need to make a brief visit to the taint, but not as lengthy as what I had in mind... cool. I guess I better make a compass... last time I tried exploring I got lost and died... lol I still act like a noob at times, even though I've been playing minecraft for a long time.

Pure nodes get weaker as they remove Flux from the surrounding area. Once they reach zero vis, they'll vanish entirely.

my vanished silverwood tree pure node was indeed near tainted land with flux
Did not know that they will vanish in tc5. ty for explaining.

You only need ONE tainted crystal ever, to scan it and get recipe to make more of them with Vitium and normal crystals.
And this one crystal can be got from porous stone.

you get it in a tainted biome in a tainted stone you put a ethereal bloom and you get rekt.......
(POROUS STONE)
