I must say, I'm having too much fun watching the TC5 nodes slowly drifting towards each other. Now only if they would spiral towards each other and start rotating as they slowly merge, culminating in some thaumic fireworks display...
Yeah, it's on the grid instead of the lines. But they're in a 2x2 area with bars over the piston. Everything should be shifted a half-grid down and to the right.
Empty space designators or even just a description 'put iron bars over the piston' would clear it up a bit but it doesn't actually LOOK for empty space, last I checked, it's only looking for the exact items.
Also the golem press is just absurdly cool compared to the old way of doing it. Kinda wish the press had an inventory of some sort so we could stack materials in it. Make a bunch of gears and the like and just store them in the press.

Ok, this is amazing! I really really LOVE the Grappler. I think this is the best focus you've made yet Azanor. I'm really pleased with how all of this has came out. Superb work as always.
Love the new golems still experimenting, but their makeup in general is just awesome.
Also love he grappler someone has been playing Fortresscraft, yes?

Small idea on the fly: Could add grappler focus upgrade that allows grappling onto entities and pulling them to you instead of the other way around when shift-casting. For itemstack retrieval, villager transportation, boat smashing and cow catapulting :3 (I know grappling onto entities doesn't follow the entities, but that is doable I think)
The new golem system is so cool! Never liked the subject that much until now, I'm going to make a room (or at least more space) for it in my tower! They're so adorable, most of all the flying ones!
And that grapple, sooooo cool!

I'm guessing it's unlikely you will port the new stuff (especially golems) to the 1.8 version as well? Kinda a shame having to start over in a different minecraft version especially since so many other amazing mods haven't ported to 1.8.9 yet, but i'd completely understand!

The main issue is, 1.8 is pretty buggy and in a lot of cases it shouldn't take a long time for modders to jump from 1.8 -> 1.8.9. Be patient rather than demanding it be backported.
Suggestion: make it so you can use various plates to change the 'shield' texture of the Advanced Automated Crossbow, a la d95's other concepts. (Even if it's just cosmetic.)
In the bug tracker you said you were gonna make it so the focus manipulator would work on an XP system more similar to 1.8's enchantment. Decided against it before releasing?
Hmmm, a bit stuck on tiggering the golem research. I've researched all the things I can see and I've scanned quite a bit but still haven't unlocked golems or hungry chests. Is there something I'm missing that I should be scanning?

Perhaps scanning a creature made of snow or iron could give you the answer you seek.

the sudden realization that 1.8.9. doesnt have inventory tweaks.
since were at it. iron chests didnt update yet aswell. anyone know of a good storage mod for that version? preferably with barrels.
i just like certain utility mods to go along with thaumcraft. i know already im going to miss the dolly just to reorganize chests.
