In Agrarian Skies, I added a couple floors to my personal living tower and put a candle room just below the infusion altar on the top of the tower. Seems to work. So in 1.6.4, (Early Thaumcraft 4) stabilizers only work 5 below the runic matrix?

I think there should be a strength level of stabilizers like candles would be the weakest beacause they are cheap (But with alot together they work better) Crystals clusters next If it would be mixed it would be even more powerfull (and maybe balanced crystal clusters) and finally skulls.
I watch dire, and I scream at him doing a moderate infusion and him saying after an explosion " maybe I should set up some stabilizers sometime"
Yeah, there is such a thing as preparation. On the other hand, I just managed to get killed trying to take on a Sickly Enderman face-to-face. Not even wearing most of my void robes at that -- I had my Harness and Fortress leggings on, from my recent trip through the Nether.
I'd switched some enchantments on the void robes -- I really should do a new Harness with enchantments matching the Void Chestplate, so I can at keep a full set of protective enchantments while swapping in just the Harness. Or deal with the Nether route, either by building bridges or using Mystcraft. What "extra protections" do the void robes actually give, anyway?

I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.

It seems doubly ironic given how much pre-preparation he normally goes to with any other mod. e.g. I've been following his season 7 lets play and my biggest difficulty is convincing myself to build some of the things he builds even though there is clearly no need: He automated a charcoal block feeder to help his botania flowers produce more mana. My mana pool, at that point, from some basic day flowers, was actually full and in no risk of being emptied from the crafting so far presented in the series.
If you have Pam's Harvestcraft, her milk recipe is great for it.
I might have to look into that. With the amount of Sano needed for making bath salts and sanitizing soap, getting it from potions and golden apples verges on absurd.
Triple meat treats have some sano, so if you have a constant output animal farm you could hook up some kind of infernal furnace dump for meat, and keep all the nuggets . You can now use fish nuggets as well, and fishing golems produce alot of fish...With automagy (or whichever autocrafting system) you can automate the treat production.
A mana bean farm is probably quicker and less fuss however.
It's also possible to automate potion production, with some timers and various single item insertion mechanisms, use core golems to fill glass bottles etc. I set up an automated general purpose potion system where I had to provide the individual ingredients in one chest per stage , but for a specific potion, like instant health 2, I could have grown out the infrastructure to provide the whole supply chain from renewable resources (using a few additional TC mods for auto crafting and a cobble->sand processing path) .
I could have sworn I'd scanned a triple meat treat...
how do you even GET meat nuggets? i've tried looking on the Wiki but it doesn't even have a page for the Triple Meat Treat
Infernal Furnace byproduct. (You will end up with a LOT of normal cooked meat)

You want a farm, you grab a hoe. You want a boat, you grab some wood. You want a fireplace, you grab A FLAMING HELL-BOULDER BECAUSE THAT'S HOW MINECRAFTERS ROLL!!!
I rushed the majority of research in easy mod, but now the warp of blindness prevents me from playing because the screen is completely black and hard hours, I tried it with the soap but seems not to work. I do not know what to do, nothing happens even with the command "/ thaum warp <player> set 0".
Soap doesn't eliminate warp effects, it just removes temporary warp (and has a chance to remove regular warp). Purifying Fluid gives temporary immunity to warp effects.
Blindness doesn't last forever, either. Check your inventory, you should see a counter for how long it will last. It should only be a few minutes.
Blindness doesn't do that, you should still be able to see your immediate surroundings. That's some kind of graphical bug. Does the inventory check show you as having ANY active effects?

Don't think there is a warp effect that causes that Zetaliner. Might want to check for other issues, for blindness should not drop your view distance to nothing, you are still supposed to see roughly 2-4 blocks around you.
Hello lucky
I am using ORR - I'll look for your post in the thread

everyone is going overkill on stabilizers.
ive never needed more than a ring of candles around my infusion altar and a coule of heads or skulls up the walls oO
Try adding high levels of runic shielding to your armor without going overkill on stabilizers...

I like astronomy, and one of my ideas is a mod based around astronomy.

Three meat nuggets of different types and a sugar. Shapeless recipe.
Cook any raw meat or fish in the Infernal Furnace to get nuggets. Craft any three different nuggets together with one sugar for a Triple Meat Treat.
