I wanted to ask if Lamps of Growth still work with Mana Bean farms? I ask this because I have 4 Lamps of Growth placed correctly in the mana bean farm but it still seems the mana beens grow very slowly...
For the spoilers: Are you trying to put them in with the WYSIWYG editor? You need to use the markup editor to insert tags like that. (Try the [BB] icon).
Also, "the next lair" -- that word does not mean what you seem to think it does. You are adding the next level to the build. The whole thing is a decent lair for the golems.
This build seems appropriate for PVP, though that assumes one player can't just pick up another player's golems with the bell. (I have no idea, having never tried PVP Thaumcraft.) The bigger issue in general is that AFAICT golems don't retreat when injured, so you're basically hoping that the damage gets spread out among the multiple golems such that all can heal before the next attack.

Are they powered with nearby jars of Herba, or mirrors giving access to such jars? Unpowered LoGs don't do anything. Also, even with lamps, mana bean growth is still fairly slow....
I did some CraftTweaker scripts for Mystical Agriculture. They fill in a couple of small gaps in MA, and also let you make or duplicate not only vanilla plants, but the blocks, plants and wood from Quark and Biomes O'Plenty. Also spawn eggs for most vanilla mobs! The scripts are here on Github.

they still work, but they have been slowed down a lot. only way to collect a reasonable amount of them is to build a giant farm. they cant be used to craft salis mundis anymore aswell. azanor said, hes going to change a couple of things up. but for now, you have to put a good amount of efford into them to get enough for crafting.

Yes, they are powered up of course. I have mirrors set up.

They can't be used to craft salis mundus? Maybe the mod wasn't updated in the pack I'm using, because I can see that I can use 4 mana beans for 1 salis mundus...
So, likely intermod bug, but there are hints that Thaumcraft is the culprit. One of my frustrations in my Overworld was no snow... I did wonder a bit that there wasn't at least a bit on high mountains, but didn't think much of it. Until I went on to explore Mystcraft.
First world: Cold Taiga M on one side of the spawn point, Snowy Forest (From Twilight Forest) on the other. Apparently perpetual snow. And no snow cover, not even on tops of the trees. Not after a couple of nights, either.
So, I go flying around, and eventually, I do find one block of snow cover: Perched weirdly on top of a node.
ETA: I found another node or two with snow hats. By repeated visits, I was able to get the 8 snowballs for a snow golem. Back home, that worked normally. Also, the trunk duplication happens with Mystcraft linking too, still erratic and occasional.
ETA2: I found a snow hat on a Glimmer of Light, too. (Which is weirder the more I think about it.)

Random data: when you close a server and open it again, all npodes gets recharged to the Max. of their capacity. Didn't tested on single player.
I can confirm that happens in Singleplayer. (At least, for me.)
Also, do any of you guys have cool looking decorations made with Thaumcraft? I would love to see any of them.

heere is little update to my texturepack as i promised. runes on warded jar will change and I will try to make thread for those textures this week ( dont worry i will make some textures too )
So everyone knows, if you want a lot of stuff carried quickly, it seems that a tier n+1 golem with a speed upgrade is always better than a tier n golem with a strength upgrade. For instance, a stone golem with an air upgrade matches the speed of an earth-upgraded wood golem, while the strengthened wood can only carry half as much stuff.

Yes, all your guesses are totally correct, sir)
U r more then helpful, u have saved one, of my mostly fortunate worlds... Thanks a lot, dude)
The Arcane Lamp can illuminate an entire valley. Have some respect for it when you're designing a mount for it.
(That's Growthcraft bamboo fences and stalks.)
Also, does the Lamp of Growth consume essentia over time, or just when actually growing things? I put mine on my garden with everything already grown, and when I looked again it had eaten half a jar and I hadn't even harvested anything. Now I'm afraid to put down my lamp of fertility for fear it'll do the same thing.

Forge updates between about .1112 and .1130 change how oreDict works, causing crashes with the Infernal Furnace and node jarring. It's fixed in .1147.

i reaaaaly need this world back...also neeed thaumcraft stuff in it...;/
OptiFine does not play nice with TC4. Even when it doesn't cause crashes, it still messes up some of Thaumcraft's graphics, especially nodes.
Also, the autodownloaded version of Baubles (1.0.0.13) has a known bug that causes deletion of non-Baubles inventory on death. Delete Baubles from your mod folder and manually download the latest version (1.0.0.16 or better) to replace it.

For instance, a stone golem with an air upgrade matches the speed of an earth-upgraded wood golem, while the strengthened wood can only carry half as much stuff.
Yeah, I've been playing with this. There's another wrinkle, though: Sometimes carrying capacity, or speed, can be too much for the job. This is most obvious for alchemy, where golems are prone to wait for a full load of essentia to accumulate. I only just added an air-enhanced stone golem to my main furnace, and that's because I've been doing so much distillation by the stack. He's reinforcing wood (strength-enhanced IIRC) and straw, but he can't replace them because I'm still doing armor and other trash, and sometimes you only get a few points of something.
On the flip side, someone upthread was double-teaming arcane bores to a single base, and complained that stone golems didn't help because they'd just grab the few blocks of cobble that had accumulated since their last grab. That's a case where you want either a longer trip to the target chest, or more weak/fast golems instead.

i reaaaaly need this world back...also neeed thaumcraft stuff in it...;/
Sorry for no posting crashlog.
Yes, all your guesses are totally correct, sir)
U r more then helpful, u have saved one, of my mostly fortunate worlds... Thanks a lot, dude)
Edit: Ninja'd by TPB!
